November 10 – Enterprise Veterans Day Parade, 6:00 pm, Main Street. We will participate
with a float. Contact Mack Lott if you want to ride the float.
November 10-13 – 2016 Battles for the Armory, Tallassee, Alabama. For more information,

November UDC Social Meeting – 5:00 pm at Mom’s Family Restaurant, 2200 Ozark
Highway in Enterprise. Date to be announced.
December 5 – Troy Civil War Forum, 6:30 p.m. at Beulah Church in Troy. The program
will be “A Civil War Christmas: Christmas in Dixie.” All are invited to attend.

Congratulations!At the 123rd Annual General Convention of the United Daughters of the Confederacy in
Richmond this month, it was announced that the Chapter Yearbook of Gen. Edmond Winchester
Rucker 2534 won “Best Chapter Yearbook” for the general organization. This is a high honor
for our chapter. Congratulations to Pat Richter, who designs and produces our yearbook!

! Ladies, the Benevolent Committee is asking us to bring toys from

soldiers. We are still collecting hotel soaps and lotions, and can tabs.
! The Patriotic Committee is collecting items for Travis Williams, a soldier stationed in
Afghanistan. Items requested include brain games, beef jerky, incense, and power bars.
