In House Checks

› Following Activity Should Done For Maintain High RTWP Cell

› Check all RF Parameter

› Check NBRs are defined properly (both 3G-3G and 3G-2G)

› Check SC Collision

Check Propagation Delay Report for checking overshooting .› Check Interference

› Check Site configuration

› Give the soft reset

› Scratch Site and recreate

Checks During Field Visit

› If We not found any improvement after In House activities , the following activities are doneduring the field visit :

› Check the Az, Tilts are as per the design.

› See possibility of optimization from Az and Tilt point of view.

› Check if we are using Dual Band Antenna common for GSM and UMTS. Then possibility ofintermodulation can be worked out.

Check Parameter Setting is as per the cable length.› Check all the connector ,feeder cable and Jumper cable with site master .

› Conduct the Sweep test for the lines.

› Check main and diversity connection .

› Swap the Problematic sector to any other sector for check problem shift or not.

›  a) Cable Swap

›  b) RU Swap

›  c) FU Swap

› Check the clutter like any reflecting body or any interference point (e.g. glass building ,water body, big hording board , railway line , etc.). If found reorient antenna .

› Check repeater near by site .

› If nothing is found in the above exercise, the do the spectrum drive test to know the interferencepoint and interference direction from any external source.

Note : We see that when RTWP improves , Call Drop decreases .

Following Activity Done at PUNE32X For Maintain RTWP

1.Check all RF Parameter

2.Check SC Collision

3.Check Site configuration

4. Scratch Site and recreated

5.Check Propagation Delay Report for checking overshooting .

We not found any improvement after Done this activity So we Go for field visit .Following activity done at field

1.Check all the connector ,feeder cable and Jumper cable .

2.Swap PUNE32X with PUNE32Y ,Now problem sift to PUNE32Y.

3. So we again check cables of PUNE32X with Site Master , Nothing was found .

4.Check the clutter and found that one metal hoarding board is in front of PUNE32X.5.So ,We reorient PUNE32X for 10 -15 Degree .

Finally after Reorientation RTWP is back to normal.

Activity Done at PUNE32

RNSK101 RTWP CELLS-Same Cluster

Since most of the sites are in same cluster.Worst Site DULE18 and DULE01 can be taken first.

Ways of Working

› Field team should take all required equipment : –  A) sweep tester

 – B) spectrum analyzer

 – C) DT team

 – D) Necessary tools for the optimization

› FIELD team should inform MS SPOC at least one day in advance with regard to the plan

of visit.› Since this can be a time consuming effort, the Field team should plan to stay at one site /

cluster at least for a day and need to work in close consultation with MS RF SPOC.

› With every Swap , RF team will monitor the stats at least for 1 hour to have theconclusive results and plan the next recommendation.

› MS SPOC for the activity is Mr Krishna Kant (9890370361) .

› Please take pictures for Antennas, Cabinet, Clutter (360 Degree Panaromic) for future

reference and reporting purposes.› Share Logs/reports of Sweep tests for analysis.
