TOPIC : Unit 5 – How do you go to school?
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE : Pupils had learnt this topic on previous lesson.
SKILLS : 1.2.1 Listen to and repeat the pronunciation of 2-syllable words.
1.5.1 Listen to and understand simple story.
1.5.4 Listen to simple description and recall details by answering simple “WH”
questions.
3.3.1 Read and understand phrases.
3.3.2 Read and understand simple sentences.
LEARNING OUTCOMES : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. Says and identify at least 6 out of 10 2-syllable words in the story.
2. Number at least 4 out of 6 sentences in the correct order.
3. Respond orally to 4 simple ‘WH’ questions correctly.
4. Guess 6 out of 8 details read by the teacher correctly.
5. Write at least 5 out of 6 sentences correctly.

1. Teacher guides pupils to read the story
lines with the correct intonation and
pronunciation.

without teacher guidance.
3. Teacher asks a few “WH” questions to
check their understanding.
4. Pupils learn a few words that have been
choosen by the teacher. (Appendix 2)

1. Teacher divides pupils into seven groups.
2. Pupils will have a game about the vehicles.
3. Each group have to guess the vehicles
when the teacher reads the details of the
vehicles.
4. Group that get the answer correctly will get
10 points.
5. Each group have to compete with each
other to gain a point.
6. Group with a higher point will become the
winner.
