ROSEBANK COLLEGE 2018 Academic Results Rosebank College congratulates the Class of 2018 for outstanding achievements in the HSC Exceptional achievements include: - 83% of all subject courses above the State Average - 23% of students appearing in the NESA Distinguished Achievers list - 49% of all examinations sat by Rosebank students achieved a Band 5 or 6. - 84% of all examinations sat by Rosebank students achieved a Band 4,5 or 6 Excellent results were achieved in a wide range of courses including: - 42% of Dance students achieved a Band 6 - 62% of Extension 1 Mathematics students achieved a Band 6 - 31% of Italian Continuers students achieved a Band 6 - 36% of Mathematics 2 unit, Mathematics Extention, Extention 2 achieved a Band 6 Subjects where students achieved in the top two Bands include: 100% in Extension 2 Mathematics; 91% in English Extension 1; 90% in Society & Culture; 78% in General Mathematics; 77% in Italian Continuers; 67% in Visual Arts; 67% in Hospitality; 65% in Legal Studies; 60% in Ancient History; 58% in Community and Family Studies; 55% in Physics; 51% in English Advanced; 41% in Studies of Religion 2 Unit. Course in which 100% of the students achieved in the upper Bands, 4, 5 and 6 include: Dance, Design & Technology, Drama, Music 1 & Music 2, Society & Culture, Hospitality Special congratulations are extended to Gabrielle Blefari for achieving the Premier’s All-rounder Award. Early University Offers Approximately 35% of students achieved an early university offer throughout Year 12. The College is proud to acknowledge the excellent achievements of the 2018 HSC class. The ongoing academic growth of the College is reflected in that over 83% of all courses are placed above State average. These are the best results for Rosebank in 18 years. “As we have commenced the 16th decade of the College, it is encouraging to see the next generation of young men and women increase their overall performance.
