HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR ENTRANCE MAT ?ENTRY CLEAN and ROMUS entrance mats (which can be combined) were designed with one object: to stop dust, wet, brought in on visitors shoes, and prevent soiling or premature wear of indoor flooring.

1- TRAFFIC VOLUME: frequent (500 people passing per day) or heavy traffic (more than 500 people / day),

2- LOCATION: indoors or outdoors (covered),

3- PURPOSE: to absorb: all or most of the wet from footwear, to scrape: outdoor mess off footwear, to wipe: damp and residues (dirt, gravel) off footwear.

4- INSTALLATION: in a mat well, with a sealed frame or a frame that can be inset, at ground level, surrounded by a ramp frame for an even slope.

5- THICKNESS: Three thicknesses available, to suit practically any situation: 12 mm 18 mm 22-25 mm.

6- STRUCTURE: - Rigid and dense designed for heavy loads and intense traffic. The mats are supplied in segments 50 - 60 cm wide. - Open, can be rolled up: the dust passes through the holes in the mat. Easy maintenance Just roll up the mat and vacuum the dust collected inside the well.

7- DELIVERY.

ENTRY CLEAN ENTRANCE MATS

- HYGIENIC: Retained dust does not penetrate deeply as in the case of a brush mat, so these mats make regular maintenance easy.

- DESIGN: Mats fit the entrance halls dcor perfectly.

- PROTECT ENTRANCE HALL FLOORINGS: Mats stop dust (which can otherwise abrade floor tiles, parquet flooring and carpets), as well as wet brought in from outside on shoes.

- HARDWEARING AND RIGID:Perfectly suited to areas of heavy traffic, or wheelchair traffic.

- LONG LIFE:The mat soon pays for itself, especially when properly maintained.

>> CONSTRUCTION: ROMAT GT mat is made of heavy duty polypropylen dust barrier textile strips, inserted in raw aluminium profiles sections for indoor or covered outdoor structures. These sections are linked together with a galvanized steel cable and fixed with zinc plated screws and bolts. Traffic noise is deadened by an antislip rubber strips underlay. Rubber spacers ensure 4 to 6 mm between each section.

Romus tactile tiles warn people that a staircase, a road crossing or some other hazard is ahead. The small humps arranged in a diagonal grid pattern give a warning to stop in front of the obstacle. These tiles have been specially developed to make it safer for the blind people and partially sighted to move around. Indoor use FIXING: Use bi-component polyurethane adhesive.

Wanting our material to satisfy even the most demanding professionals and not finding a standard self-adhesive composite that suited us in the market, we then had this heat-welded glue designed specially for us by one of the biggest industrial adhesive manufacturers. Excellent adhesive grip on a wide variety of substrates. Highly resistant to temperature changes. Less flexible than butyl, its light amber appearance has the huge advantage of not staining the flooring and walls.

Skirtingprofiles

Heavy duty rubber mastic made of strong adhesion agents. Designed and used for many years. It has a strong adhesive power. Its main advantage is its long term flexibility allowing expansion absorption. Its elasticity also makes it an ideal adhesive for any parts liable to shocks or under tension. This is the reason why we recommend this formula for the profiles here. Being black, however, it can leave unwanted stains on carpets when used for door coverstrips. We recommend using a primer before sticking profiles with BUTYL. (see p. 116)

or laminate (keep the expansion

Screw the profile to the base.

Adjust the height difference by hitting slightly the upper profile. Tighten the screw.

Remove the protection film in case you use a wood effect foil.

Screw the base in the subfloor.

6 mm long plastic height spacer to be screwed on the profile base (screws supplied), to make the top profile up to 5 mm higher. (6 height spacers per meter).
