It also marks the beginning of Holy Week and the celebration of the holiest days of the liturgical year. Our Holy Week celebrations begin with the Chrism Mass, when the faithful of the diocese, the bishop, the apostolic administrator, priests, deacons and lay faithful gather together, the apostolic administrator blesses the holy oils, and the priests and deacons renew their promise to serve Christ and His Church, the people of God. Then we begin the Easter Triduum; Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. Participation in these sacred holy days enables us to more fully experience the sorrow and the joy of Christ’s death and resurrection. I invite you to join with your Catholic sisters and brothers in our faith community of Las Vegas, to participate in the many Holy Week services offered at the parishes throughout the diocese. May the light and peace of the Risen Christ remain with you always. 1399 San Felipe Drive (Corner of Adams Blvd. & San Felipe Dr.) (702) 293-7500 or www.standrewbc.org St. Andrew Catholic Church March 29, Holy Thursday 7 PM - Mass of the Lords Supper March 30, Good Friday 7 PM - Liturgy of the Passion and Death of the Lord March 31, Holy Saturday 7:00 PM - Easter Vigil Mass April 1, Easter Sunday Masses 8:00 AM, 10:30 AM (This year there is no Sunrise Mass)

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,

On March 25, Palm Sunday, we celebrate our Lord’s triumphant entrance into Jerusalem.
