mathematics professor who was hired to develop an improved fraud
detection model. Successfully dealt with exacting requirements,
complex data relationships, and extreme data volume. Became the
primary contact with the outside vendor, using collaboration skills
to develop a productive relationship. Used negotiation skills to
promote acceptance of the model. The data was used for a fraud
detection model which exceeded all expectations, and saved MORE
THAN TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS ANNUALLY compared to the previous fraud
model. The RESOUNDING success of the model verified that the
project plan was valid.
