Alan Copperman MD, FACOGDr. Alan Copperman is the Medical Director of RMA of New York’s Manhattan office, and is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He serves as Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology,

and Reproductive Science at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and is a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He has been recognized by New York magazine as one of New York's “Best Doctors” twelve years in a row.

Dr. Copperman received his medical degree from New York Medical College, completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and finally continued his training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York as the Martin J. Clyman Fellow in reproductive endocrinology.

Lawrence Grunfeld MD, FACOG Dr. Lawrence Grunfeld is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist, and has authored numerous articles on reproductive science and ovum donation. He has been recognized by New York magazine in their “Best Doctors” issue for nine years in a row.

Dr. Grunfeld received his medical degree at Mount Sinai Medical Center and his obstetrics and gynecology training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has completed fellowships in reproductive medicine at both the Albert Einstein Medical College and Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Tanmoy Mukherjee MD, FACOG Dr. Tanmoy Mukherjee is a board certified gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist, and has received the prestigious Society of Reproductive Surgeons Award for his extensive research related to the effects of hydrosalpinx fluid on the outcome of in vitro fertilization. He has been recognized by New York magazine in their “Best Doctors” issue

for seven years in a row.

Dr. Mukherjee completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he received the Leo M. Davidoff Society Award as well as the Schulman Award, and completed his fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Benjamin Sandler MD, FACOG Dr. Benjamin Sandler is the Medical Director of RMA International. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Sandler is known worldwide for his expertise in in vitro fertilization and has contributed to the development of several IVF protocols utilized within the last 25 years. He has been recognized in Better Living magazine as one

of the best infertility specialists in New York, and is recognized consistently by Castle Connolly as one of the “Top Doctors” within the New York metropolitan area. In 2001 he was awarded the Family Building Award by the American Infertility Association for his outstanding contributions to the field of reproductive medicine.

Dr. Sandler completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, and completed his subspecialty fellowship training in infertility and reproductive medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Sandler is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Eric Flisser MD, FACOG Dr. Eric Flisser is a well-respected Manhattan reproductive endocrinologist and leads RMA of New York’s Long Island office as Medical Director. He is board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and in obstetrics and gynecology.

An honors graduate of Yale University, Dr. Flisser earned his medical doctorate at the New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He then completed his subspe-cialty training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the New York University School of Medicine.

Jeffrey Klein MD, FACOG Dr. Jeffrey Klein is the RMA of New York Medical Director at our Westchester office. A board certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, Dr. Klein was recognized in Westchester magazine's 2007 “Top Doctors” issue.

Dr. Klein received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed his residency training at The George Washington University Medical Center, and ultimately completed his fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.

Joshua Klein MD, FACOGDr. Joshua U. Klein is a reproductive endocrinologist and serves as Medical Director at RMA of New York’s Brooklyn office. He is the founding editor of Fertility Reviews, an online journal reviewing the latest research and developments in fertility and IVF, and has been recognized as a “Top Doc” by Health magazine.

Dr. Klein earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, and completed his residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center, and was also selected as a biomedical research fellow in the prestigious Darnell Laboratory at Rockefeller University in New York City.

Jaime Knopman MD, FACOG Dr. Jaime Knopman is a reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist, and was honored in 2010 with the Berlex Junior Faculty Development Award. She is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Knopman received her medical degree

from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the New York University Langone Medical Center. She completed her subspe-cialty training in reproductive endocrinology also at the NYU Langone Medical Center.

John J. Stangel MD, FACOG Dr. John J. Stangel is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at RMA of New York’s Westchester office, with over 35 years of experience caring for patients. Dr. Stangel has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly 23 times.

Dr. Stangel graduated from New York Medical College and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He returned to New York Medical College for his subspecialty fellowship in reproductive endocrinology.

Allison Styne MD, FACOG Dr. Allison Styne is a reproductive endocrinologist at RMA of New York with extensive training in basic and advanced infertility treatment. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Styne received her undergraduate degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency training at the New York University School of Medicine and then completed her fellowship at the Emory University School of Medicine.

Sheeva Talebian MD, FACOGDr. Sheeva Talebian is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and fertility specialist who has achieved recognition for her abilities, compassion, and clinical expertise in reproductive patient care. Dr. Talebian is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also

a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Endocrine Society.

Dr. Talebian received her undergraduate degree at Columbia University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and received her medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York University School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital, and remained at NYU to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Natan Bar-Chama, MD Dr. Natan Bar-Chama is the Director of the Center of Male Reproductive Health at RMA of New York and is a board certified urologist. Since 1994, Dr. Bar-Chama has been the Director of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital and School of Medicine. He has been recognized by New York magazine in their “Best

Doctors” issue several years in a row.

Dr. Bar-Chama received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. In 1998, he received the Pfizer Scholars in Urology Award for leadership, innovation, and outstanding achievement in urological science. He also received subspecialty training in male reproductive medicine and surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

The physicians at RMA of New York are specialists in all aspects of reproductive endocrinology and
