Riverford began in Devon in 1986, when farmer’s son Guy Watson started growing organic veg on the family farm. He started the vegbox scheme a few years later, delivering to just 30 local customers. We now have four Riverford farms growing and delivering across England and South Wales. As Riverford has grown, we’ve stuck fast to what we believe in.

questionsIf the answer’s not here, give us a call and we’ll talk you through it.

am I tied into a contract? No. You can have a delivery weekly, fortnightly, as a one-off, or whatever suits you. And you can stop and start whenever you like.

how often can I change my order? As often as you like - you don’t have to have the same thing every week. You can swap between boxes or, if you don’t want a box, make up your own order from the full range (minimum order £12.50 or £25 on meat).

what day and time do you deliver and do I need to be at home?We deliver to you on the same day every week. The day and time depend on your postcode - check with your vegman or lady. There’s no need to be at home, in fact most of our customers are out when we deliver.

where will you leave my box if I’m not in?Just let us know where you would like us to leave it. That could be with a friendly neighbour, in a shed or garage, under a hedge, tucked behind a dustbin... whatever’s best for you.

I grow my own, so will a box really work for me?A lot of our customers grow their own. They tend to order individual bits and pieces from us, like meat, milk, eggs, cereal, juice or the odd portion of fruit or veg to top up their harvest.

is there a charge for delivery?No, delivery is free with your vegbox and comes with a friendly smile from your local vegman or lady.
