Location Possible problems Risk assessment (How to overcome problems)

The bedroom The lighting of the bedroom may be too bright or too dim

Obstacles may get in way of filming

Noise coming from within the house

Take back up lights to brighten up room or try and dim the lights down

Either move the objects that are in the way for that shoot or try shoot around them

Ask the family to be quite during shooting

Inside the car Trying to shoot in a confinedspace

The noise of the car engine not being to overpowering

Shooting while vehicle is moving

Plant cameras within the car so we are able to get the shots we would like but not be in the way

Record the engine noise while stationary and add it in afterwards

Forest Dark and uneasy to see Tripping over stuff on the

ground The weather may effect

filming Freezing cold

Take plenty of torches with us and spare batteries

Look where we are walking and clear anything that may be a risk of tripping over

Take blankets/coats/welliesto wear in-between filming

Outside the house Family inside the house being visible from the windows Weather may cause ground

be slippery Animals creating noise Dark and uneasy to see

clearly

Ask family to not look at windows while we are shooting

Non slip shoes for running in or wait until ground is dry

Put animals furthest away from front of house

Check the ground for any obstacles that may trip us up.
