Our methodology diers rom traditional Microsot Ofce training because it

concentrates on teaching users how to ollow the corporate style guide within

the confnes o Microsot Ofce.

Teaching someone how to use the eatures

o Microsot Ofce without relating it to

the templates they use is ineective. It is

similar to explaining the eatures o a car to

someone without starting the engine and

demonstrating them whilst driving.

Why is this Approach Important?

Correctly created templates contain all

sorts o timesaving eatures that most

users would love to implement but sadly

have no idea how to fnd. A common

example o this in Microsot Word is how to

speed up the ormatting o a document by

using Word styles. Our template styles save

our clients considerable processing time.

Why We did it?

To create a user-riendly, macro-driven toolbar which would allow the user quick

access to the most common unctionality in PowerPoint. This simplifes the

process o compiling branded documents, saving time and ultimately cost to both

the company and client.

What We did?

We managed the creation o the toolbar rom frst drat through to completion, and

assisted in the rollout to individual users. With our experience with presentation

packages, we provided proessional guidance on additional options and eatures

to enhance unctionality.

The toolbar was context driven which enabled it to determine which template was

being used, in print or onscreen. It also ensured that the assets and tools were

appropriate to the template.

Branded tables and charts, and additional slide elements could be easily added to

slides. This eliminated the need to re-create them each time they were required.
