(Rev 8:6-12) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt

up. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of

the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven,

burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name

of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. And the fourth

angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the

stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

NOTES

We can see here that the “Star” that falls from heaven is not a real star, like our Sun.

We can also see that this star is not like the burning mountain in the 2nd trumpet, or the star that fell in and 3rd trumpet. Those trumpets use the word “as”.

John in the 5th trumpet use the pronoun “him” to refer to the star.

The star in the 5th trumpet preforms actions that are done by an organism not an object

We also know that at this time is when the Anti Christ will be kill in by a deadly head wound

Locust in the Bible were greatly feared because of the devastation to the crops and trees that they easily strip.

Locust are a form of Judgment that comes on Nations and man for there sin and disobedience

Locusts sometimes move in vast swarms and can easily strip away all the crops. It is reported that from 1866 to 1869, in the country of Algiers on the Mediterranean Sea, over 200,000 people died from the result of famine from a locust plague. More recently, in June of 1993, locusts were devouring the harvests of Ethiopia, Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia, and Djibouti.

Nebraska locust of 1875“According to the first-hand account of A. L. Child transcribed by Riley et al. (1880), a swarm of Rocky Mountain locusts passed over Plattsmouth, Nebraska, in 1875. By timing the rate of movement as the insects streamed overhead for 5 days and by telegraphing to surrounding towns, he was able to estimate that the swarm was 1,800 miles long and at least 110 miles wide. Based on his information, this swarm covered a swath equal to the combined areas of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont “

NOTES

These locust come up out of a place called the Bottomless pit.

This place is located in the center of the Earth according to the Bible.

According to Scientist the center of the Earth is a rolling, tumbling ball of hot liquid magma

When there is an volcano this hot magma along with smoke is what comes out.

sides of the pit.

and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down

quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the

ground clave asunder that was under them: And the earth opened her mouth, and

swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah,

and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them:

and they perished from among the congregation.

(Luk 16:22-26) And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also

died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth

Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But

Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And

beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would

pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from

thence.

the heart of the earth. (Eph 4:8) Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity

captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also

descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also

that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

(1Pe 3:18-19) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the

spirits in prison;

and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

NOTES

These locust have the stinging power of that of a earthly scorpion.

In Bible time, it was said that a Roman soldier was so well trained, that he could endure pain beyond human understanding.

If these soldiers were stung by a scorpion in the middle east they were said to have screamed like a women

Page 45: (Rev 8:6-12) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and

NOTES

This sting is not for a few moments or days but for 5 months

During this time men will be in so much pain they will attempt suicide. But they will not be successful.

Suicide by…• Gun• Wrist • Stabbing • Pills

Page 46: (Rev 8:6-12) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and

This 5 months will be like what hell will be for an eternity.

5 months is what the time frame of the flood

5 moths is the life span of a locust (May to September)

Their sting is very powerful, but cannot cause death.

And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. five months.

NOTES

We don’t know for certain what these creatures are. They are a composite of other animals for sure.

We need to remember that John is a 1st century man, describing things in the 21st century, with a 1st vocabulary.

Many people try to imply that these a symbolic of war machine of the 21 century…

NOTES

•The helicopters are called  "locusts", because they have a body shape like locusts, they fly erratically, the fly in packs, and they can land and take off in fields. This is also a good indication that the helicopters are painted military green or camouflaged.

•They kick up dust as they fly and give off smoke as they shoot, and their targets explode and give off smoke, "and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth" (Revelation 9:2-3).

•Their armor is indicated by their "breastplates of iron" (Revelation 9:9). 9:8).

NOTES

•The pilot in the front window is indicated by "their faces were as the faces of men" (Revelation 9:7).

•The great roar of the engines and rotating blades is indicated by " the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle" (Revelation 9:9).

•The whirling blades are indicated by "they had hair as the hair of women" (Revelation 9:8).

•A helicopter's tail goes straight out and then has a vertical tail fin,  "they had tails like unto scorpions" (Revelation 9:10).

•They are equipped with guns and missiles "and there were stings in their tails" (Revelation 9:10).

Page 56: (Rev 8:6-12) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and

NOTES

•The rotor rods or blade supports are highlighted with gold "on their heads were as it were crowns like gold" (Revelation 9:7).

•As is typical for military craft, the 'face' of the helicopters is painted with a ferocious jaw, "their teeth were as the teeth of lions" (Revelation 9:8).

•My problem is that this don't line up in all points and these come up out of the bottomless pit (demons)

These locusts have a leader unlike the one in Proverbs.

He is there king and he is the angel of over the bottom less pit .

His name means death and destroyer

We already saw him in the 4th horsemen
