Retrieval of video games recordings

DESCRIPTIONVideo retrieval and consumption has become a key technology due to the huge amount of onlineand connected data available on the web.

We plan to investigate the possibility to transfer multimedia research results (retrieval andmetadata mostly) into the gaming community, ie. focusing on services like twitch.tv, hitbox.tv,and the new possibilities with live recording on the new consoles and Nvidia ShadowPlay. Weexpect that there will be a whole new surge of game videos on the web in the next few years thatwill benefit from these applications.
