Incorporating Smart changes into

the Co-Ordinated Retail Markets -

this action is being retained as a

standing item/placeholder pre-existing

I-SEM

During discussiongs regarding SM, It was agreed that I-SEM should be a standing item/placeholder at this

Forum in much the same way that Smart Metering is. A new agenda item will be added for future SG meetings.

TIBCO/Schema

Programme

J Bracken provided the ESBN/NIE Networks update.

• Project is currently engaged in performance testing & issues identified in earlier testing being rectified.

• Some issues have come to light during performance testing and one of the defects has significantly impacted

the availability of the HUB and this has resulted in questioning the feasibility of end of April Cutover date.

• CER raised concern about this delay having knock on impacts for subsequent Schema work and Smart

Metering & this delay impacts both ROI and NI.

• As a result, a new Action was logged (Action 134) to the ESBN/NIE to provide a report outlining the

implications of the TUP Project delay on al other Retail market deliveries/projects.

• It was agreed that as the SG is not until the 25th May, an Extraordinary SG Meeting be schedule for the 1st

week of April. The Report should be may available by ESBN/NIE by the end of March so it can be reviewed

ahead of the meeting. 134

TIBCO Upgrade Programme

deliveries/projects New

TIBCO/Schema

Programme -

Assurance

J Gregory provided the TIBCO/Scheam Programme update.

IPT 1 - has completed for ROI and NI. In ROI, RMDS ran 1,300 testing cases across all MPs. 1 defect was found

relationing to the Essentail Plant MCR in ROI. A further found in relation to the 601 MM & 2 defects identified

in the case of 60MM. As a huge volume of TIBCO technical and connectivity issues arose, it was decided that

IPT2 is required. ReMCoDS will issue a Declaration to the RAs & to the Programme to highlight Suppliers views

on testing. An EXIT Report will be issued in ROI.

IPT 2 - will focus on a low level of technical details due to the high levels of issues in IPT 1. IPT 2 currently in

planning stage and will contain roughly 40 scenarious (for ROI) that will run over a 2 week period which all

Suppliers will be involved in. The IPT 2 will depend of the Go-LIve Cutover date.

General

To ensure adequate representation from all Suppliers at the SG (via Supplier Reps), ReMCoDS will issue the

two Supplier Reps with a list of all Suppliers so that these can be included.

Performance Testing

Performance Testing Objectives

Objective

• HUB to process 450,000 messages per day

• this equates to approx. 3.5 times the normal day message volumes (130,000)

• HUB to process 1.125 million messages in a day (24 hrs)

• In the event of a prolonged outage – 5 working day outage

• Large EMMA to process 150,000 per day and the Small EMMA to process 10,000 per day

• The hourly profile of the market message volumes reflects the current hourly profile on a normal day for 450,000 messages

• The Hub implementation is for High Availability. The Hub can process all message volumes on either side of the dual infrastructure.

• The solution can deal with the loss of an EMMA or a malfunctioning EMMA without any negative impact on the Hub or any other EMMAs

• The HUB to process Smart Metering message volumes with larger message data packages

• HUB to process 2.25 million messages in a day (24 hrs)

• In the event of a prolonged outage – 5 working day outage

MCR1111 – Automated Debt Flagging Solution(Version 4.0)

9th March 2016

This Change Request proposed the implementation of Debt Flagging via the Objection/Cancellation process and

using existing Messages and the re-use of existing codes.

Change Request was approved in 2012 and is due to be implemented in the next Schema Release.

This re-versioned MCR details further information on the population of reject reason codes.

• If the New Supplier sends in an 011MM Cancellation Registration Request with the cancellation

reason code 'DE' Objection for Debt there will be new validations to check if MRSO has received the

011MM either before the start of the SWP or after the SWP expiry.

• An 011MM with a Cancellation Registration Request with cancellation reason code DE Objection

for Debt cannot be in train at the same time as an 012MM with an objection reason code of

erroneous transfer. The Cancellation Reason Code will be invalid.
