Professional Experience

KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY ׀ Former Southern Polytechnic Campus ׀ Marietta, GA 2010- Present IT Systems Support Professional V (former Assistant Director of Campus Services for IT with SPSU)Direct all IT activities and projects related to campus services for 25,000 students. Includes audio/visual technology systems, designing and implementing digital signage advertisements along with providing application support. Charged with systems administration for Campus Card Services, Transportation and Dining Services.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS Spearheaded the migration of campus card management system from Blackboard to Heartland.

Strategically managed this six month project without interruption in campus services which included the following:- Cost analysis of card management systems- Setting up initial meeting between Heartland executives and the management team at KSU- Getting approval for funding and completing purchase orders among other tasks

Launched new housing portal StarRez resulting in more efficiency in roommate assignments and payments.

Managed the implementation of the digital signage network; a three month project to display all digital content such as advertisements, menu boards, events and emergency warnings.

Implemented Salto card access system in 2010 for the Marietta campus, now adopted university-wide.
