PROJECTS Political Psychology Project Jan 2014-Present Designed a political psychology project for my “Experimental Projects In Cognitive Science” class. The goal of this study was to understand the differences in voting behavior between Moderates and Partisans using textual information of a policy. Designed three sets of surveys with five short paragraph policies each (Healthcare, Social, Economic, Education, and Foreign) with different tones in political leaning (liberal, moderate, or conservative) arranged in arbitrary order. Designed a 7-point Likert scale where the participant must select how liberal, moderate, or conservative the tone of the policy is followed by whether they would vote for the policy or not. Analyzed the data using 2-Factor ANOVA on SAS. Currently continuing this study but with a larger, more diverse sample size as a side project.

Mahabodh Foundation Jan 2015-Present Mahabodh Foundation is a relatively new nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote women empowerment and preventive healthcare in rural India through educational and scholarship programs. Currently redesigning the website to be very persuasive in storytelling the mission of the organization as well as creating a better user experience for donations in supporting the cause. Project involved interviewing our client to gain a better insight into their brand identity, a competitor analysis of similar nonprofit organizations, and a redesign proposal so far. Next steps involve creating iterations of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and development of website.
