DIVISION  TRAINMASTER  –BNSF-­‐  CASPER,  WY  

JUNE  2014-­‐PRESENT      

Manage  operation,  assist  in  developing  the  plan  within  the  Powder  River  Division.    Provide  Supervision  for  TY&E  employees  within  Casper  and  connecting  terminals  and  collaborate  with  dispatchers  and  Chief  dispatchers  for  planning  specific  call  times  to  ensure  on  time  performance  and  maximization  of  intermediate  connections.    Perform  operations  tests  and  safety  audits  in  order  to  maintain  compliance  with  BNSF  and  FRA  standards.    Conduct  Investigations  for  injuries  and  HFI  (Human  Factor  Incidents)  to  determine  cause  and  enforce  discipline.    Integrated  2  new  crude  facilities  into  our  network.    Work  with  the  Equipment  group  to  ensure  adequate  product  is  on  hand  for  sand/bentonite/crude/sulfur  customer’s  needs.  Monitor  our  G&D  metrics  for  on  time  performance  and  continuous  improvement.    Worked  with  site  safety  team  and  Road  Masters  to  quickly  resolve  SIRP  safety  issues.    

 

TERMINAL  TRAINMASTER  –  BNSF  –  GALVESTON,  TX  

2012-­‐2014  Managed  terminal  operations  and  lead  over  80  employees  in  day  to  day  train  operations  including  interchange  with  UP  and  GWR  railroads  with  Crude,  Sulfur,  Urea,  and  Grain  trains  as  well  as  originating  manifest  trains.    Served  as  DSRCO  (Designated  Supervisor  of  Remote  Control  Operations).    Ensured  Hazmat  and  train  makeup  compliance  in  accordance  with  FRA-­‐CFR  regulations.    Trained  new  management  CMT’s  and  other  FLS  on  successful  operations  techniques  and  onboarding  and  worked  with  Best  Way  to  create  an  onboarding  guide  which  will  be  used  for  future  onboarding.    Provided  oversight  resulting  in  drastic  improvements  in  performance  metrics  including  reducing  car  dwell  times  by  47%  and  increasing  on  time  performance  28%  year  over  year.    Served  as  coordinator  for  new  hire  conductor  program.    Performed  operations  testing  for  terminal  compliance  with  BNSF  and  FRA  standards.    Worked  at  the  intermodal  facility  at  Pearland,  TX  and  managed  the  ramp  and  convoy  operations  for  intermodal  train  schedules.  Led  an  injury  free  workforce.      

 

OPERATIONS  MANAGER  –  CARPET  DESIGN  -­‐  SHERIDAN,  WY  

2006-­‐2010  Managed  day-­‐to-­‐day  operations  including  the  organization  of  our  subcontractors  scheduling.  Handled  project  estimations  and  bid  work  on  both  large  and  small-­‐scale  projects  including  homes,  businesses,  and  schools.  Served  as  chief  estimator  and  lead  sales  person.  Worked  with  customers  on  a  daily  basis  to  fulfill  their  needs.    Worked  with  suppliers  and  shippers  to  ensure  on  time  purchase  orders  lead  to  on  time  deliveries.    Ordered  inventory  for  wholesale  to  customers  and  managed  flow  of  goods.      Managed  warehouse  operations  and  led  an  injury  free  workforce.
