    UC IPM Pest Management Guidelines for Crops http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/crops-agriculture.html The Pest Management Guidelines are for commercial (i.e. you sell your prod-uct) growers. For home garden use, look at the Pests in Homes, Gardens, Landscapes, andTurf section. This should always be your first stop in looking for information. If you look atinformation from other states, always check it against UC IPM information. There are two rea-sons for this:

    1. We may not have the pests listed on websites from other states.2. Pesticide laws in California are much stricter than many other states. You must use only

    materials registered by the State of California as well as the US EPA. California labels for pesticides may be different, and legally, you are expected to follow the California label.

    The UC IPM site also has tools such as year-round pest management guidelines, degree daycalculators for specific insects, as well as CIMIS weather information.

    n.b. ATTRA lost federal funding for 2011 and is asking people to pay to download many pub-lications. A years subscription is $50. It is worth it as their information is extensive and veryuseful.
