In the case of the m-Unit V.2 the brown wire from the relay goes to the AUX out 2. In the case of the Blue and Basic the brown wire from the relay goes to IGNITION out 3. With increasing frequency any black ignition module is often called a CDI, including on diagrams but true it is important to determine if you have a true CDI, not a TCI. 4. The easiest way to workout if you have a true CDI is to trace the kill switch wiring.
