Stuttering therapy can feel daunting, even in the best of circumstances. To add to the challenges, many children who stutter present with co-existing issues. This presentation provides concepts to consider and activities to present for children who stutter who also have other disorders.

Many SLPs may feel a sense of confusion as to how to address these issues effectively in the therapy setting.

This presentation will discuss how to draw information from case histories and assessment to make more appropriate therapy plans. Participants will also discuss a hierarchical view of therapy goals. Therapy activities will also be presented to enhance treating stuttering along with other goals and objectives for children with co-existing disorders. Video vignettes will be utilized to augment concepts presented.
