NOTICE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR EMPANELMENT OF ADVOCATES . . '

Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office, l<ochi on oehalf of the Central Board, Employees' Provident Flmd, a statutory body of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, proposes to engage Panel Counsel(s) to represent the Central Board, EPFO before various Legal Forwm (viz., High Court of Kerala , District Consumer Col)rt and Lower Courts of Ernakulam, Thrissur and Alappuzha districts) .

The practicing advocates who are Iegistered with Bar Council of India/State Bar · ' '

Council are eligible for empanelment. Ttif! qualification, experience, schedule of fees, other terms and conditions and the application format in which the application has to be made, have been prescribed.

The Advocates who are on the existing panel of EPFO shall cease to be on the panel of EPFO after new panel is finalised against this notice. Therefore, they niay also apply afresh in response to the notice.

Eligible practicing advocate must submit application in the format prescribed in Annexure"A" and Annexure"B" enclosed herewith, along with all supporting documents in a sealed envelope to:

The envelope should be superscripted as following

"Application for Empanel~,ent of Advocate for Kerala High Court, CDRFl Lower Courts, of Ernakulam, Thri_ssu_r and_ Alappu~ha districts".

The last date for receiving applications in the prescribed format alongwith supporting document is 23.06.2017, till 16.00 hours.

The eligibility , Qualifications and other terms and conditions for empanelment of advocates is enclosed.

Application for emplanelment at EPFO does not confer any right/assurance whatsoever, to an applicant that he/she will be empanelled on the panel of EPFO. Lette rs to advocates confirming their empanelment will ne issued by EPFO sepa rately.
