PRC-CPD PROVIDER ACCREDITATION NO: 2017-037

April 15, 2019

WINNIE E. BATOON Schools Division Superintendent —DIGOS CITY-Division Department of Education, Region XI Digos City

RE: CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) PROGRAM AND SEMINARS

Dear Ms. Batoon:

The Davao Association of Catholic Schools, Inc. (DACS), a PRC-accredited CPD provider since 2017 is pleased to announce its new schedule of CPD seminars beginning April until July 2019.

The DACS CPD Program aims to upgrade the knowledge, competence and skills of professional educators by providing relevant, high-quality and affordable training sessions for school administrators and teachers in Southern Mindanao. Its various seminars and conferences focus not only on standards and regulations but also on professional ethics, social responsibility and values formation to enhance personal qualities. The goal of the DACS CPD Program is to become a partner of private and public schools and contributor to the professional, and personal development of teachers.

Among the seminars we have included in this series is a seminar-workshop on Ballroom Dance Curriculum and learning competencies on May 27-29, 2019 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy, Mati City. Forthcoming also are Learning Exemplars seminars for least learned competencies in MAPEH (June 21-22, 2019 for Grades 1-6 and July 5-6, 2019 for Grades 7-10) as well as a Seminar-Workshop on Teaching Action Research for Senior High School on September 6-7, 2019. These will be facilitated by curriculum experts from the Department of Education - Division of Davao City.

In line with this, we wish to request for your kind endorsement of the DACS-CPD programs and seminars as we extend the invitations to all interested public and private school teachers and administrators who need to undergo continuing professional upgrading and earn CPD points in the process.

CPD points for most of the seminars and conferences will be announced as soon as PRC publishes the assigned accreditation numbers, a process which takes forty-five (45) working days since filing of application. Certificates of participation will indicate CPD points earned.
