Do you Refresh your desktop?........Eeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr….Do you get what do I mean by

Refresh-ing the desktop? When you go to the desktop, right click and click on the Refresh option

as shown below.

Most of the PC users I found must have done this if they go to the desktop including my

friend.I also found some brats going to the cyber café to play certain games. Before starting any

game/When the game which is being played lags, they’ll fucking go to the desktop and then

refresh.Actually, what’s the purpose of doing that?A part of them states that this will speed up the

computer.Additionally, some say that this action will accelerate the internet data transfer

especially when a certain web page loads slowly or slowed file downloads. And some don’t know

why are they doing that. They saw some other fuckers refreshing their(fuckers’) desktop and then

copying that useless action on their own desktop…..

This is something which is an ultimate BULLSHIT!!!

I don’t know who’s the 1st prick doing this.Unluckily this thing spreads out and can’t be

stopped anymore. Now,majority of PC users assume that this action will surely speed up the

computer………Most of the pricks doing this Refresh thing say that doing it will refresh

the RAM…….and some also say that this action assures that the computer’s processes will be

executed smoothly and easily. An example is when the pendrive 1is being plugged-in into the

USB port but Computer still doesn’t display the icon of that pendrive. Therefore, most of the PC

users will go to the desktop and then refresh it until the icon of the inserted pendrive is displayed

in the .For them, this will speed up the detection of the pendrive by the computer Computer

despite of the real fact that the detection period depends on the version of USB ports and the

capacity of external drive being connected to the computer.

From my observation, there are several PC users who will refresh repeatedly every 30s or

even more frequent! And a bit of them know the kybd shortcut for this action which is F5

button. They will press F5 as long as they want and will release it when they’re satisfied enough

which will leave the desktop in the state of refreshing frenzy! This is all due to their computers

being too slow when doing certain heavy process(es) especially when the CPU is used

100%/overclocked.It’s so bad that choosing Refresh on the desktop’s right-click-menu won’t

solve this problem.

Actually, what does happen when we refresh our desktop? It will only refresh/redraws the

icons there.RAM won’t be refreshed! All the temporary files in the %temp% folder won’t be

deleted!Your computer won’t be refreshed the same way when you wake up from a nap!

Bcoz of this fact, why must there be the option in the right-click menu on the Refresh

desktop? As I stated,it will only update/redisplay the icons on the desktop. An instance is when

you install a new app,the shortcut icon of that app will be displayed on the

desktop.Sometimes, the desktop fails to show the shortcut icon of the newly-installed

app. Thus, refresh functions to make that shortcut icon appears. The same is also applied when

uninstalling certain app.Sometimes, the shortcut icon of that uninstalled app is still on the desktop

even after the completion of uninstallation bcoz of system uncertainties/bugs.Bcoz of

this, refreshing is needed to make that icon disappear. This means that refreshing the desktop is

needed to show those effects.

Assume that you’re arranging icons on the desktop, sorting them by ascending letters(A-

Z) as shown in the screenshot below.

You move a folder named Anime from a certain directory. You also just hv installed

app. Those icons will appear on the desktop but what if the arrangement doesn’t

follow the rule of sorting out by letters?

If that happens, simply right click on the desktop and then choose Refresh! And those two

newly-added items will be sorted by letters together with the default items.

And that’s how you should use Refresh. It also serves the same for all Windows Explorer windows. The purpose is still the same which is to refresh icons and thumbnails. The performance

of your computer won’t increase no matter how many fucking times you refresh your

desktop! This is bcoz ur computer’s performance depends on RAM capacity & the speed of CPU

clocking.

To conclude,I rlly hope that you won’t do this useless thing unless if you know the real

function. And if you find someone doing it for false reason, please tell that person so that his/her

life will be freed from a state of ultimate dumbness…Till nxt time!
