Record Voiceover to your Power Point Presentation

There are two ways to audio-record over your PPT.

1. Enable the recording ribbon within PPT 2. Go to the file and click options

3. In the options box, go to Customize Ribbon. In the second box, scroll down and click check recording, click okay.

4. Once the recording ribbon is enabled, you will see the “Recording” tab.

5. There are two ways to record: simple audio, or Record Slide Show (This is the preferred method)

A. Record Slide Show i. Under the Recording tab, select “Record Slide Show”, “Record from beginning”

ii. You may record as you are going through the presentation. iii. The record button allows you to pause when you need to take a break.

iv. You may also use the eraser/pen/highlighter options at the bottom during the recording

v. Once you are completed with the recording, you can replay it. vi. If you need to re-record one slide, or the entire presentation, you have the

option to select “clear) vii. When you are finished recording, hit escape to get back to working screen and

save your presentation with your session number, Last Name. The session number is included in the email that is attached to this document. If your

session number is S1.1.1 and your last name is Smith, you would name your recording S1.1.1, Smith.

Email your recorded presentation to Lyn Sholl no later than April 2. **Please note this deadline is not flexible due to the production schedule.
