BUDGET PREPARATION GUIDELINES

• Do NOT increase the property tax burden on the average homeowner

• Decrease property taxes for commercial and industrial property taxpayers

• Increase the City cash reserves by $1 million

RECOMMENDED BUDGET HIGHLIGHTS

• No increase in the City portion of property tax for the average homeowner Recommended property tax rate of ($9.86 = 1.1% rate decrease)

• 0.85% ($30.22) decrease for average commercial property owner.

• 1.12% ($66.73) decrease for average industrial property owner.
