God said to Jeremiah,

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, Before you were born I sanctified you. I ordained you a prophet to the nations”

(Jer. 1:5)

Testimony To Show The Father’s Heart

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will – ” (Eph 1: 3 – 5)

Jesus Teaching About The Father’s Heart

Jesus fully understood the Father’s heart

Jesus clearly knows our human condition

He knows that thru our brokenness our understanding of Father is distorted

Jesus wants to teach us about the Father

Parable of The Prodigal Son

Shows our spiritual condition – elder son and the prodigal son show us our distorted view of our identity

Jesus reveals a true picture of the Father’s heart to correct our distorted view

Revelation of The Father’s Heart

Prodigal’s heart, he said, “How many of my father’s hired

servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger. I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”

Father’s response- But when he was still a great way off, his father

saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.

Father’s Love and Compassion ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on

him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry: for this son was dead and is alive again, he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.”

Revelation of the Father’s Heart Elder son, obedient, a slave, did not

know his identity, jealous of younger brother

Father’s response to the elder son, “Son, you are always with me, and all

that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.”

What About Us?

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs – heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”

Romans 8:14 -17

How Does That Translate To Our Ministry Sons and Heirs walk in the embrace

of the Father like Jesus did Sons walk in the favor of God and in

authority Sons will follow the leading of the

Father to see what the Father is doing

Sons carry out the mandate to look after God’s creation.

Romans 8:19 -21 “The creation waits in eager expectation

for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.”

Sons Can Liberate Creation From Bondage to Decay Sons can bring the redemption of Jesus

Christ to the whole of creation By so doing can liberate God’s creation

from its bondage to decay of sin Heirs and sons liberate creation from

the systems of the world by using the keys of the kingdom

Sons can bring the kingdom of God into the whole of creation

Impartation Period

Seek God to give you a spiritual father and mother who shall bring the Father’s heart close to you

Reflect on your spiritual journey to testify of God’s Father heart towards you
