Third-Person: The story is being told by an outside person (someone who is not in the story). The author uses he, she, and they. In the third person point of view, the narrator can tell about the thoughts, actions, and feelings of the characters.

All students enrolled in public schools should have to wear school uniforms. Many studies show that when school uniforms are used, there is an improvement in students’ attitudes and schoolwork. Wearing uniforms can also help families save money on clothing costs for school. Uniforms can improve the school culture, leading to better school behavior and grades.

Butterflies are the best insects in the whole world. They are amazing because of their beautiful colors and their interesting life cycle. They have a life cycle that is unlike that of any other creature. They have such pretty colors and patterns on their wings. There are so many different butterflies to see in the world since no two butterflies are ever the same.

Homework is big waste of time! There are so many other amazing things that we could be doing at home each night instead of homework. We could be outside playing and getting exercise or playing games inside. Anyway, you do work at school all day long so there is no need to do it as well when you come home.

my Point of View

Recess at school is just a waste of time. Kids don’t need any special breaks or recess times. It’s more important that they are in the classroom learning and getting smarter than spending time outside playing. Anyway, there are always problems on the playground. Kids bully each other and get into fights. When they stay in the classroom there are fewer problems that arise. It is better for kids to stay focused on academics in the classroom than to be outside running around playing pointless games of tag.
