    T: what are the major causes that lead children to work?

    Ss: poverty

    T: low income and poor economic conditions lead those children to

    work in order to support their families incomes; they add extra

    money to the poor budget of the family; they supplement their

    families income.

    T: what are the other reasons that push kids to work?

    Ss: their parents are illiterate. Parents think that education is not

    important.

    T: there are other factors that contribute in increasing the number of

    children in the street. ( warfare, poor economy,( deteriorating

    economies and natural disasters), so how these factors contribute in

    increasing the numbers of street children.

    T: parents believe that education is expensive, costly and hence they

    think that educating their children is useless.T: what is the result of illiterate children? If they dont get access to

    education, what would be the results in the future?

    Ss: they will work in bad conditions, low salaries; they may grow up

    into criminals
