ABOUT  US  Retail  Banking  Consulting  Group  (RBCG)  specialises  in  retail  banking  and  particularly  building,  optimizing  and  disposal  of  ATM  networks  and  their  associated  systems.  We  apply  our  knowledge  and  extensive  experience,  to  deliver  benefit  to  our  customers  both  financial  and  retail.  We  utilise  new  technology,  new  providers  and  new  solutions  to  reduce  operating  costs  and  enhance  service  capability.  

Established  RBCG  was  established  by  Andrew  Martin,  one  of  the  leading  figures  within  the  ATM  world.  Andrew's  experience  allows  him  to  see  opportunities  within  retail  banking  and  particularly  ATM  networks  and  their  associated  systems.    RBCG  has  been  setup  as  a  Business  Intermediary,  working  with  key  clients  to  establish  new  business  ventures.  Once  the  venture  has  passed  the  internal  investment  checkpoints  either  a  newco  or  a  new  division  is  establish  with  RBCG  as  a  shareholder.  RBCG  will  either  take  a  lead  investment  role  or  a  minority  shareholding.    We  also  have  been  known  to  take  Non-­‐Executive  roles  within  various  companies  to  assist  with  their  growth  and  expansion.

 EXPERIENCE  Our  first  goal  is  to  fully  understand  our  client’s  business  and  to  fully  understand  the  issues  within  the  organisation.    When  we  have  intimate  knowledge  we  can  guarantee  we  will  add  value.        Some  successful  projects  are:  

Business  Growth  for  Acquisition  -­‐  Independent  ATM  Deployer,  UK    We  took  an  established  but  stagnating  Independent  ATM  Deployer  (IAD)  and  defined  a  new  business  plan.  We  grew  the  business  and  launched  several  new  products  defined  through  the  market  assessment.  During  the  search  for  investment,  the  company  was  made  an  attractive  acquisition.    The  offer  was  accepted  and  we  assisted  with  the  sale  process.  

Established  B2B  Company  -­‐  Mobile  Phone  Business,  UK    An  established  B2C  mobile  phone  retailer  wanted  to  launch  a  B2B  company.    We  defined  a  business  plan  to  launch  the  new  B2B  business.  The  business  began  winning  sales  after  three  months.  

New  IAD  Business  Model  -­‐  Independent  ATM  Deployer,  Germany  Defined,  packaged  and  launched  a  new  IAD  business  model  into  the  German  market,  established  profitability  within  16  months.  €3m  EBITDA  

New  IAD  Business  Model  –  Independent  ATM  Deployer,  Germany  Established  a  new  IAD  business  model,  defined  and  launched  the  product.  Achieving  profitability  after  2  years,  the  business  is  now  generating  €6m  EBITDA.  

Business  Review  -­‐  Independent  ATM  Deployer,  Holland    A  business  review  was  undertaken  of  an  established  IAD.  It  was  concluded  that  the  business  was  unviable,  therefore  RBCG  negotiated  the  closure  of  the  business  with  JV  partner  bank  and  closed  the  business  at  no  cost.  

Acquisition  of  Point  of  Sale  Business,  UK  Managed  an  acquired  the  POS    business,  transforming    the    business    into    a  profitable  company.  This  was  achieved  within  9  months.  

Sales  and  Marketing  -­‐  Cash  Movement  Company,  UK  The  Sales  and  Marketing  function  of  a  cash  movement  company  had  been  neglected.    RBCG  utilized  vast  experience  in  this  area  to    increase  sales,  market  the  company  and  raise  awareness  of  this  €250m  revenue  company.    

Business  Development  –  Online  Retailing,  UK  RBCG  lead  the  business  development  function  for  a  new  £6m  online  secure  fulfillment  business  for  a  Footsie  200  company.  

New  Service  Development  -­‐  Independent  ATM  Company,  UK  As  part  of  the  parent  company  strategic  review  defined  the  strategy  for  a  new  service  development,  as  part  of  this  strategy  we  launched  a  new  Independent  ATM  Deployer  in  the  UK.  This  company  went  from  0  ATMs  to  2,000  within  2  years.

ANDREW  MARTIN  Managing  Director  B  Eng  (Kings  College)  with  MSc  (Imperial  College)    Andrew  has  worked  in  the  engineering  field  around  the  world  for  over  25  years.    His  involvement  in  ATMs  began  in  1996  as  Sales  &  Marketing  Director  for  Securicor  (now  G4S),  a  £250m  Footsie  100  company,  responsible  for  Sales  &  Marketing  and  their  ATM  Strategy.    Andrew  also  setup  Securicor  Cash  Machine  in  1999  and  by  2003  had  1,800  ATMs  deployed.  

     In  2003  Cardpoint  bought  Securicor  Cash  Machine  and  he  joined  Cardpoint  as  Business  Development  Director.    In  2004  he  moved  to  Frankfurt  to  setup  Cardpoint  Germany.    This  grew  to  a  profitable  market  leader  with  900  ATMs  by  2007.  In  2007  Andrew  left  Cardpoint  GmbH  to  establish  Currency  Machine  GmbH  in  2008  and  in  2011  setup  Retail-­‐BCG  LLP  as  intermediary  for  new  business  ventures.    Andrew  specialises  in  ATMs  both  new  and  legacy  technology,  Foreign  Currency  delivery  and  Dynamic  Currency  Conversion.
