Vacalians is changing its name to Vacanceselect
Tuesday 27th November 2018 - Vacalians, European leader in the campsite industry, continues its transition by becoming Vacanceselect. Re-branding combined with a major marketing and digital initiative to accelerate the convergence of its distribution platforms in Europe, and to launch an ambitious loyalty programme.

The change of the group’s name is also an opportunity for Vacanceselect to officially launch a new customer relationship programme:
#MyClubVacanceselect.
This relationship, community and loyalty programme is aimed at
the 28 million unique visitors to the online sites of the new group,
and to the many customers who have already been loyal over the
past three years.
#MyClubVacanceselect is a free programme, open to customers
making reservations on the direct channels of the group for a
holiday stay, for all destinations and all types of accommodation:
more than 250 campsites will be available in the 2019 season for
the Tohapi and Canvas offers, and the other brands will integrate
the scheme in 2020.
#MyClubVacanceselect will be deployed throughout the
customer sector, with exclusive and personalised offers. The
attractiveness of the programme will be complemented by a
permanent offer of 5% discount on all online bookings for the
loyal customers, combined with all other existing promotions.
For all customers, a weekly draw, with the winner being given a
full refund of the first stay, will also be introduced for the 2019
season.
Simplification of the brand portfolio
Vacanceselect is unveiling a new slogan, «Enjoy Outdoors», to coincide with its name and logo change. The four components of the
new name are signs of both the ambition and the customer promise of the new group:
Vacances, «Vacations» in French, proudly claiming the DNA of
the group, its offer at the heart of tourism and leisure in France
and Europe.
Select, affirming the quality ambition of all the destinations and
all the partners of the group, a unique service aimed at customer
satisfaction.
Enjoy, inviting European tourists to enjoy their vacations, and
to join family or friends to make moments that matter.
Outdoors, meeting the need to disconnect from everyday life,
to leave an often urbane professional environment to enjoy the
Great Outdoors, which is the core business of Vacanceselect.
By formalising its name change, Vacanceselect affirms its ambition and leadership in the tourism and quality holiday business, and
takes the opportunity to simplify its brand portfolio after a year full of acquisitions.
In the next few years, Vacanceselect.com will become the group’s
main European digital reservation platform, serving all the brand
names specialising in holiday stays.
As a result, Tohapi, Canvas, Selectcamp and Adriatic Kamp, mobile
Home and glamping holiday stay specialists, will become more
visible to all of the group’s European clientele.
With this two-pronged approach, Vacanceselect, which has
historically been very active in Northern Europe, will gradually
expand its distribution and loyalty businesses in France and
Southern Europe; while on the other hand, Tohapi and Canvas will
benefit from stronger direct distribution channels in Northern
Europe.
The synchronised development across the Corporate, Digital
and Brand portfolio of the new Vacanceselect Group will be
symbolised by a logo, different versions of which will be deployed
on all communication devices.
All the elements of the marketing and digital transformation of the
Vacanceselect group will be rolled out gradually from 3 December
2018 onward.
