BUT, before start with our awesome skin care, let’s talk about eye area…. With your ring finger or little finger, just feel the tissue around the eye area…. It is very thin and does not have the resiliency to stretch back like the rest of the facial skin. So, when we wipe our mascara away or rub our eyes, that skin stretches and stays stretched, which is why the eye area always shows aging first. Also, have you ever noticed, that no matter how close you look in the mirror, you cannot see the tiny pores around the eye area? The eye area has its’ own moistur-izing system, which is why, if you have ever used facial moisturizer in the eye area, you notice the eye color changes, creases or disappears in the middle of the day???? So, rule number one: Always use the ring finger or the little finger in the eye area…because it causes less pressure on the eye tissue. Rule #2: Only use movement from the outside of the face toward the nose when working around the eye area. This is usually backwards from what we are used to, so it will seem foreign at first. Rule #3: Only use products in the eye area that are made for the eye area. Facial cleanser is too harsh for the eye area; Facial Moisturizer will sit on the surface and not penetrate the tiny pores of the eye area; and foundation is foreign to the eye area and will age the area, crease and patch out around the corners of the eye.

Do not use cold water…that does not close up the pores…and do not use it as hot as your mother taught you…that really dehydrates the skin and ages it more quickly.

Step 2 of the Skin Care is the Timewise Moisturizer… also in 2 formulas, Light-weight, Oil Free, and has age fighters in it…works like a heat seeking missile. If you are dry in certain areas, it knows and moisturizes those areas….if you are oily in certain areas, it automatically absorbs the oil in those areas. A small amount is all it takes. More is not better, it is just wasteful. You can, however, use as much as you want – I will sell it to you as often as you need it, but, it really does not take much. Make sure to stay away from the eye area with this product. Now, Do you remember we talked about the products for the eye area…this is the moisturizer made to penetrate the tiny pores around the eye area….it is Timewise eye firming cream. Now, before we move onto the final step of the Skin Care System, wouldn’t you agree that the most difficult part of foundation is finding the right color? We have such trouble finding the right shade that we too often, just go without. The main reason we cannot find the right shade … if you look into the mirror, we have 2 – 3 different shades on our face, with a darker color going around the eyes, around the nose and cheek area…makes it hard to find the color. If we match the redness of the nose and cheek area, it leaves a makeup line on our jaw – we don’t like that. And, if we match our jaw line, the redness shows through on our cheek, nose and eye area, and that doesn’t look natural…so we just don’t wear it! Here is the answer…concealer! Our concealer is oil free, but, it is full coverage, which means, you need ½ of ½ of what you have ever used before. It doesn’t take much and works so well. Take a small amount, on the back of the hand-there are no oil glands on the back of the hand so you are not picking up the oil and bacteria from the palm of the hand or fingers, and blend it thin, then, start to pat into the discolored areas of the face. Some of us need a little all over, and some of us just need a spot or 2, but it is oil free SO…it is safe to use under the eyes…remember ladies, small amount, we are not trying to do all of our coverage with the Concealer—just a little. The foundation will finish the coverage for the skin. Now, that you have used it…do you see how it erases the discoloration and evens out the tone? Now, we can find the correct foundation shade for you! Now, I must warn you…people like the way this looks so much, they want to use it as the foundation and skip the final step…but, because this is not skin care, If you choose not to put the foundation over this product, within about 2 hours, it will start evaporating and patch out.

Now, the final step of the skin care system: the foundation. A lot of women don’t want to use foundation, but, this is the final step of skin care…it keeps the correct moisture level in and the garbage out of the pores! Even if you are just cleaning the house on Saturday, you do not need to put on blush or eye color, but you do need to use your skin care. And, if we get the right shade, no one is going to know you have it on anyways. You can apply it so lightly that you can’t even see it, but it will be taking good care of your skin. 10 years from now, there will be 2 types of people: the ones who say, “I am glad I did” and those who say “I wish I had” Now, I have selected a shade to match your skin. Start to apply your foundation, but stay away from the eyelid, and stop at the jawline. Do not take your foundation down onto your neck…it only makes a makeup line on your neck and gets all over your clothing and everyone you hug. Stop at he jawline, and if we have the correct shade, there will be no makeup line. Now, feel your face with the back of your hand….do you feel the difference?
