Preface
Al-Hind Educational & Welfare Society going to distribute
Ramadan Food
Parcel for Covid-19 afffacted poeple under Ramadan Food
Programme, 2020.
Due to Covid-19 virus spreading everywhere pleople are lockdown
since
Two months in there homes. The immediate need of affected
families is met
through the distribution of food. So far, -ALHIND EDUCATIONAL
AND WELFARE
SOCIETY are continue distrubuting food rations addressing the
requirement of
one family for one month with our own limited resources and need
more
financial support for continue.
people are in crucial need of food ration as almost all markets
are non
functional in affected areas and somewhere if markets are open,
prices are
increased significantly and people who have left their home with
empty hands
cannot afford to purchase food items from markets.
Ramadan food distribution programme Insha Allah will continue
targeting
the most vulnerable groups and destitute people; we will
continue our efforts to
reach and access people who live in remote areas and thus are
extra
disadvantaged. Our aim is to make the programme as efficient and
cost effective
as possible so that the beneficiaries get the maximum benefit
from it.

Introduction
India's lockdown has closed all non-essential businesses &
services, as the
government ramps up preventative measures to combat Covid-19.
The
pandemic is disproportionally affecting the lives of those
living in poverty.
The "Ramadan Food Programme" offers an opportunity for many
needy
people around the country who face food insecurity and hunger to
be provided
with a ‘Ramadan Food Packet’, which ensures that their burden is
eased during
the month of Ramadan.
Method of Implementation
The entire project will be completed in four phases.
In the first phase, selection of the area and then selection of
Beneficiary through
the survey / assessment, after which a token will be given to
the beneficiary with
name, place and time of distribution, will be mentioned in
Token.
Second phase, committee of three people will be constituted to
purchase /
procurement distribution material.
Third phase, the material will be packed by with fixed
measurement in the
monitoring of the committee through the Volunteer and Labor and
will be sent
to the selected place for distribution.
In the fourth and final phase, Ramzan kit will be distributed to
Beneficery under
the committee's supervision.The programme is designed to operate
in
conjunction with other relief and development programmes that
provide more
sustainable assistance in improving living conditions for
beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries
This year a wide range of beneficiaries were selected. Due to
Covi-19 Small
Businesses, individuals affected by the pandemic. There income
has been cut off
and they have no food supply. We also included categories like
widows,
orphans, destitute, aged, disabled etc. The beneficiaries are
selected in
conjunction with pre-assessment /survey, local welfare groups
mentioned
differently, average family size is 6.
The intervention is through: Distribution of 1000 food parcel
which contains the following :-

Proposed Outputs
1. A total of 1000 Covid-19 affected distressed and Vulnerable
families and
dependents be will be directly benefited of the Ramadan Food
distribution programme.
2. Ramadan Kits were given to thousands of poor families in
order to make
sure that the weaker section of the society could join others in
Eid
celebrations.
4. Muslim community will be more aware of discharging their
duties and
have increased opportunity to do so in relation to Ramadan
programme.
5. Increased opportunities for Muslim community to support the
socially
excluded communities.
6. To share the happiness of the arrival of the fasting,
Eid-ul-Fitr and its
blessings with the needy.
