Rail brake spring applied

Main Features

Operation of several rail brakes by one hydraulicpower unit, including manual pump for emergencyrelease

Options

Apply time: Stepless adjustable 3-12 seconds

Enclosures of stainless steel for power unit andterminal box

Space heater, oil level and oil temperature switchfor the power unit

Rail brake hydraulically released by externalrelease cylinders

Complete piping set, if required in stainless steel

Limit switch release control, mechanical or proximity type

Connection by flange on top

Static applications

Holding forces 100-300 kN

Vertical compensation ±10 mm

As storm brake on all rail mounted equipment, suchas cranes, stackers, reclaimers etc. Particularlywhere a rail clamp cannot be used due to missingrail channel.

Applications

Brakes of this range are tested both mechanicallyand hydraulically and are set to nominal force. Thissetting can only be changed by the manufacturer.Operating conditions other than described in thisbrochure require the manufacturer´s approval andmay influence the function of the brake and itscomponents.
