ACCELERATING INTERNATIONALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION ENHANCING MOBILITY AND SUCCESS OF GLOBAL TALENT

Dr. Rahul Choudaha is a global higher education thought leader and speaker based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Choudaha is recognized for his expertise on future-oriented, data-informed internationalization and global engagement strategies with a focus on mobility trends and insights of international students and global talent.  Choudaha has presented nearly 150 sessions at professional conferences including several invited keynotes and plenaries and has been quoted over 300 times in global publications including the BBC, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. His writings have appeared in Forbes, Huffington Post, South China Morning Post, Asia Times, The Global Times, Times Higher Ed, and University World News. Choudaha is a research associate at the Center for Studies in Higher Education at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, he has taught graduate courses on International Higher Education at New York University and Baruch College. He is an elected member of the General Council of the Amsterdam- based European Association of International Educators. He served as the Chair of NAFSA’s International Education Leadership Knowledge Community which focuses on senior international officers responsible for comprehensive internationalization strategies. He blogs and tweets as DrEducation. Choudaha holds a doctorate in higher education administration, master’s in business management, and a bachelor’s in electronics engineering.
