T he Pro Late Models make their final appearance of the regu- lar season tonight, along with the Modifieds, Pro Truck, Sportsman and Bombers. This is the finale for all of these divisions with the 2013 champions being decid- ed. W e all know that Daniel Hemric secured his first ever championship here in the Buddy’s Home Furnishings Super Late Models, along with Bubba Winslow in Super Stocks. We’re pretty darn sure it’s all decided in the Sportsman, with Steve Buttrick and Bombers, with Michael Nelson as they both have a pretty comfortable lead in their respective divisions. N ow on the other hand, the Pro Late Models, Pro Trucks and Modifieds are all “Oh So Close”. The Pro Late Models have a fierce battle going on between two youngsters as Garrett Jones holds a slim 12 point lead over Bryce Dulabhan. This has been a yearlong battle between these two driv- ers. See inside for the points listing. B randon Howell is looking to grab the title away from 2012 Five Flags Speedway Modifieds Champion Donnie Hamrac, but he will have to race his heart out due the just a 5 point lead. On the other hand Hamrac will be “Up On The Wheel” trying to prove his 2012 title was not fluke. Sounds pretty close in these two divisions, doesn’t it? W ell, let me cap it off with the Pro Trucks. Just four points separate Chopper” Stagner and J. J. Day. Day can smell a cham- pionship to make it a “Clean Sweep” as he has already locked down the 2013 title at Mobile International Speedway. In order to do it here he will have to out race a very deter- mined Stagner. A fter tonight all the pressure will be lifted from all these drivers’ shoulders and they all will turn 100% of their attention to the 46th Annual Snowball Derby in December. We will post on the web the entries received start- ing next week. Make sure you get your tickets EARLY!! YOU WON’T BE SORRY. T his will wind up our newsletter for this year. Thanks to all the fans and driv- ers for making this a great season. I can’t think of a better place to be than right here with you great people. When you run into Dave Pavlock (he’s the good guy who always wears white) give him a pat on the back for a job well done on these newsletters. See ya at the Snowball! Mix all that in with what has been

some of the best local racing in years, and, we’re off to a great start.

Tonight, the Allen Turner Pro Late

Models will again dazzle us with a pair of features. Young Garrett Jones and Fairhope’s Bryce Dulabhan, along with Pensacola’s Jeremy Pate, are raging a battle for the points lead with a mere 6 points between them. The new format for the series has met great success.

The Mods, Sports-man, and Bomb-

ers are also set to do battle tonight. Speak-ing of Sportsman, let us remind you, new division sponsor Beef O’ Brady’s, on Nine Mile Rd. will stay open late for your visit after tonight’s races. We also thank Bomber Division sponsor Cheryl Nelson of Butler’s U Pull-It,
