REDESIGNING THE EVALUATION & COMPENSATION SYSTEM FOR
TEACHERS AND PRINCIPALS
GREAT TEACHERS AND LEADERS
• Student growth measures based on FCAT and district assessments
• Redesign teacher and principal evaluations utilizing 50% student performance, core effective practices and multiple metrics
• Redesign compensation system to link rewards to performance
• Make decisions on placement of teachers and principals based on effectiveness
