Sustainable Planning Act 2009
MAREEBA SHIRE COUNCILADOPTION OF AMENDED PLANNING SCHEME POLICY 4
Notice is given under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 ,Statutory Guideline 04/14 Making and amending local planninginstruments, that on 19 November 2014 Mareeba Shire Councilresolved to adopt amendments to Planning Scheme Policy 4 ofthe Mareeba Shire Planning Scheme.
Planning Scheme Policy 4 is the FNQROC Development Manual.
The purpose of the amendment is to ensure that the DevelopmentManual continues to be functional and represents “best practice”in accordance with accepted current state and national standardsfor design and construction.
The amended Planning Scheme Policy 4 (FNQROC DevelopmentManual Version 6) will have effect on and from 1 December 2014.

ADOPTION OF AMENDMENTS TO THE CABOOLTURE SHIREPLAN
Notice is given in accordance with the Sustainable Planning Act2009 that on 17 November 2014, Moreton Bay RegionalCouncil adopted Caboolture ShirePlan Amendment 9. Theadopted amendments will have effect on and from Monday,1 December 2014.
The purpose and general effect of the amendments is to changethe zone of properties at two locations in Lagoon Road,Burpengary to reflect development approvals that have beenacted upon.

Notice is given under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 thatMoreton Bay Regional Council adopted, by delegation, on17 November 2014 the PineRiversPlan TLPI 02/14 Moreton BayRail Link and the Redcliffe City Planning Scheme TLPI 03/14Moreton Bay Rail Link.
The temporary local planning instruments will ensure transitoriented development principles are applied to developmentproposals in the Moreton Bay Rail Link corridor. The provisionsapply to the properties identified in the Overlay Code Mapcontained in the TLPIs. TLPI 02/14 and TLPI 03/14 willcommence on Monday 1 December 2014 and will remain ineffect until 30 November 2015.

It is notified that, pursuant to Section 319T(2)(1)(b) of the CorrectiveServices Act 2006, a Victim Trust Fund has been established in thename of Raymond ALI as a result of a payment to him pursuant tothe Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002. Victims of Raymond ALImay have a claim against the Victim Trust Fund and that claim maybe payable from the Victim Trust Fund. Potential claimants have sixmonths from 7/10/2014 to start a proceeding in a court to have aneligible victim claim against Raymond ALI.
Any victims of Raymond ALI who commence a claim against theoffender and wish to make a claim against the Victim Trust Fundmust notify the Public Trustee of the commencement of the claimand provide sufficient proof of the commencement of the claim tosatisfy the Public Trustee. This notification must be made to thePublic Trustee within six months of the establishment of the VictimTrust Fund, as detailed above.
It should be noted that pursuant to section 319S(2)(a) of theCorrective Services Act 2006 , a victim may have a potentialeligible victim claim whether or not the offender is prosecutedfor, or convicted, of an offence in relation to the conduct forwhich the victim is claiming.

Under section 495 of the Mental Health Act 2000 , the Schedule of Authorised Mental Health Services is amended to declare theChildren’s Health Queensland Authorised Mental Health Service, which amalgamates the services and staff of:
• Mater Health Services Child and Youth Authorised Mental Health Service • Royal Children’s Hospital Authorised Mental Health Service
Inpatients of the Mater Children’s Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital will be transferred to the new Lady Cilento Children’sHospital, Children’s Health Queensland Authorised Mental Health Service during the day of 29 November 2014. All three hospitalcampuses will operate as Authorised Mental Health Services on this date.
Under section 497 of the Mental Health Act 2000 the position of Divisional Director, Child and Youth Mental Health Services,Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service is declared as Administrator of the Children’s Health QueenslandAuthorised Mental Health Service.

Background This notice is given because rates or charges levied by the Council on the properties described below are at least 3 years overdueor default judgment has been granted by the Magistrates Court on vacant or commercial land. The Council may sell the propertyat public auction and use the proceeds to discharge the overdue rates or charges.
The Council is required to give a final notice to the property owner giving details of its decision and giving the owner a finalopportunity to pay the overdue rates or charges. If the overdue rates or charges are not paid within 3 months of the notice, theCouncil will commence proceedings to sell the property without further reference to the property owner. The sale proceedings willbe discontinued if the amount of all overdue rates or charges levied on the land, and all expenses incurred by the Council for theintended sale, are paid to it.
The Council has decided to apply this procedure to your property described above. This document gives you notice of the matterswhich Council is required to notify under the Local Government Regulation 2012 to give the property owner a final opportunity topay the overdue rates or charges and prevent sale of the land by Council.
Formal Notice Council hereby notifies as follows: -
(a) Gladstone Regional Council has decided, by resolution, to sell the land described below because an overdue rate or chargehas remained unpaid.
(b) This document is a notice of intention to sell land under section 140 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 .
(c) The date of the Council meeting at which the resolution to sell the land was made under section 140 of the Local GovernmentRegulation 2012 was 18 November 2014 and the resolution was in the following terms:-
(d) “That Council sell the properties described, in accordance with the provisions of Section 140 of the Local GovernmentRegulation 2012 for arrears of rates. The properties described are to be sold by way of auction for arrears of rates with anauction reserve and other terms of the process to be set by the Chief Executive Officer having regard to the requirements ofthe Local Government Act and associated regulations.
(e) Details of all overdue rates or charges and interest accrued on the overdue rates for the land as described below, as at4 November 2014 are as follows:-

Interest continues to accrue at the rate of 11% per annum. The interest accrued on the overdue rates is compound interest and iscalculated on daily rests.
A copy of sections 141 to 144 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 will be provided to the property owners.
Rights of the Property OwnerIf the amount of all overdue rates or charges referred to in this notice, including interest calculated up to the date of payment, andall expenses incurred by the Council for the intended sale are paid, the Council must not sell the land.
Consequences of non-payment If the amount of all overdue rates or charges referred to in this notice, together with interest calculated up to the date of payment,and all expenses incurred by the Council for the intended sale remains unpaid, the Council will sell the land under section 143 ofthe Local Government Regulation 2012 . The sale proceeds will be applied to discharge the overdue rates.

If the overdue rates in respect of any of the above lands are notpaid in full within 6 months after the date of the notice of intentionto acquire the Council may start the procedures for acquiring theland in respect of which the overdue rates are not paid.
Council will end the procedures in the case of any of the landslisted in the amount of the above schedule only where theamount of the overdue rates and all expenses the Councilincurs in attempting to acquire the land are paid.
