Position : Lead QA/QC Inspector (Attached email copy FYI) Period of assignment : November 09, 2015 – Till to date Project : ECP ‐ Integrated Gas Development Expansion Package 1 at Das Island (ADGAS) Client : Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (ADGAS) IGD‐E Project is a unified project to further increase offshore gas processing capacity by an additional 400 MMSCFD Offshore HP Gas from Das Island to Habshan. This will be in addition to the current gas processing capacity of 1,000 MMSCFD realized under the OAG and IGD Projects. Scope covers land reclamation, civil and marine works along the western coast of Das Island for the above expansion, including further additional land reclamation work for the IGD‐E2 (future gas plant expansion project). Scope of Work: Construction of approx. 2, 000 lm of revetment. Pre‐casting and Installation of approx. 3, 600 Nos. of Core‐Locs units for revetment protection. Dredging of approx. 2.25M m3 of material from borrow area for the reclamation of approx. 240, 000 m2
of land. Soil Improvement of reclaimed land using Vibro‐Compaction. Pre‐casting and Installation of Quay Wall Concrete blocks on rock layer foundation to construct a 62 lm
corner Quay Wall (approx. 4, 600m3)

Construction of 143 long concrete retaining wall 3.25 to 6.25 m high (approx. 2, 500m3 concrete) resting on 72 piles.
Construction Drainage outfalls through the Core‐Locs concrete armor units. Extension of the ADMA API Separator outfall. Protection of effluent outfall pipelines, Submarine Cables and construction of new cable ducts. Detailed Engineering including Special Marine Studies including the 2D / 3D Physical Modeling Shoreline clearance including removal and disposal of debris, construction waste and concrete Acropod

Duties & Responsibilities:‐ Leading the team of QC Inspectors to conduct on‐site inspections related to quality assurance and
quality control of the project and make sure that all works are planned, performed, controlled, managed and documented as per Company and Project Quality Control Procedure.
Inspection, sampling and testing of rock/boulder materials to be used for revetment (Armor rock, Under Layer, Quarry run, Bedding Layer). Making sure that these materials are meeting the project specifications and relevant international standards.
Witnessing of field and laboratory testing of rock materials and concrete/ steel test as being done by 3rd party laboratory.
Prepares and submit a Daily Quality Control Report to QA/QC Manager.
Conduct inspection for rebar, formwork and embedded items as per project specification & ITP Prepare and maintaining.
Conducting frequent site inspections and periodical offsite inspections.
Managing all documentation works / test reports / certificates / records and keep all in a good filling system.
Verification of test results, reporting and recommendation to QA/QC Manager for necessary actions.

Responsible for ensuring of concrete casting are as per AFC Drawings, approved Method statement and ITP through inspection of pre‐pour, post‐pour and repair inspections. Pre‐casting of Manholes Acropod (core locs) and Quay wall blocks.
Ensuring that reference documents like AFC Drawings, Method statements, ITP etc. at site are up to‐date, and removing superseded documents.
Ensure that all materials being used are within the project specifications and all equipment is calibrated and all equipment’s are maintained in good conditions.
Periodical checking of all field and site laboratory test equipment calibration and condition to ensure correct and accurate reading/data provided.
Attend daily coordination and safety meeting.
Company : HUTA MARINE WORKS Ltd. Jeddah, KSA. Position : Civil QA/QC Inspector Period of assignment : December, 2012 To August, 2015 Project : Zamil New Shipyard & Two Deep Water Berth at K.S.A. (Dammam Sea Port). Client : Zamil Offshore. Consultant : Hamza Associates Cairo, Egypt. Owner : kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sea Ports Authority. EPC contract has been signed with Zamil Offshore Services Company to build a new shipyard on a large reclaimed area inside King Abdul Aziz port in Dammam. The new shipyard designed to accommodate the building and repair of all types of vessels within its ship lift capacity, offshore support vessels, harbor service craft, yachts, naval vessels and offshore structures including rigs and platforms. The shipyard will be equipped with a modern ship lift capable of handling vessels up to 7500 tons in weight. The overseas design provider is TRITON from Greece and consultancy provider HAMZA associates from Egypt. Scope of Work:‐ Ship lift Construction (Synchro lift area) 105×65 m. Quay Wall Construction (200 tons each block, 705L.M.) 30 m height vertical and raked piles driving (240Nos.)

Qurayyah IPP project called for building a 4000 megawatt combined cycle thermal power plant, the world’s largest to date, in cooperation with Saudi Arabians’ largest developer ACWA power and SUMSUNG C& T. HUTA has been participating in the project the initial design stage. HUTA is a full EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contractor responsible for all tasks design to procurement through actual construction. The overseas design provider is Sargent and Lundy(S&L) from Chicago and consultancy provider is Fichtner from Germany. Scope of Work:‐ Dredging of Intake and Outfall Channel ( Approximately 600,000mᵌ) Offshore and Onshore GRP 4.0 m dia. Pipe laying using coupling system (6.5 k. m) Construction of Seawater Pump Station (105 m × 95 m , depth 12 m below seawater) Construction of Outfall seal pit structure (2 Nos., 29 m × 22 m, depth l below seawater level) Shore protection works. Duties and Responsibilities:‐ Leading the lab team to fulfil all project requirements.
Inspection of all civil works on site such as Concrete Pre‐pouring works and concrete pouring works.
Monitor daily work progress and prepare daily progress report. Check if all the sub‐contractors meet the target progress on a daily basis.

Construction of steel sheet piles shoreline walls (around 3Km). Reinforced concrete bored piles (more than 2000 piles). Construction of concrete shoreline blocks wall (around 8 Km). Conducting Lab Tests Such as Concrete Cubes/Cylinders Crushing Test, Air Content, Slump Test, Sampling, Unit Weight and Sieve Analysis etc.
Taking Site Asphalt and Concrete Samples and Cores.
Filling and Certifying Test Report as per Project Specifications.
Preparing all papers work related to crushing, quality test and trail mix.
Compare civil Pre cast & Pre Stress Structures design and shop drawings & if there is no conflict especially on the location/dimension of anchor bolts on each drawing.
Participate in weekly Quality Progress meeting with the sub‐contractors.
Attend daily tool box talk of sub‐contractors and sign / validate all work permits. Monitor and control of site safety concerns on a daily basis.
