PRA Mission 1. Evaluate the role of pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) in the context

of the current health care environment.

2. Promote education for the public and other health care providers about the scientific rationale for and clinical outcomes of PR.

3. Work collaboratively with other organizations (such as AACVPR, ERS, ACCP) to promote optimal utilization of PR worldwide.

4. Serve as an advocate for patients rights and care options for PR.

5. Promote continued investigation into the scientific rationale for and clinical outcomes of PR
