At York County Community Action(YCCAC), we offer a range of transportationoptions, open to the general public, forpeople of all ages, to help meet yourtransportation needs. These include:

Public Transportation Routes • Local Rides. Shopping and non- emergency medical rides including cancer treatment. • WAVE. Sanford to Wells, and Sanford to Biddeford, with sched- uled transportation to work, train- ing and for shopping and medical. • Shoreline Explorer. Summer trolley and shuttle services along York County’s coastline and year- round service from Sanford to Wells on the Orange Line. • Sanford Transit. Year-round service from Springvale to South Sanford.

Contracted Transportation • Children and families receiving case management from DHHS, Child Development Services and other private contracts. • Medical, non-emergency transports that cannot be served on public transportation routes. Available on a limited basis.

Meeting Individual NeedsService animals are allowed on all YCCAC buses and vans as long as they are under the control of the rider. Portable oxygen equipment handled by a rider will be accommodated. YCCAC vehicles meet ADA requirements.

York County Community Action - Transportation Routes have been designed to serve the closest regional shopping and medical destinations for each town served. Riders are usually picked up at their homes with a return trip an hour or more later.
