Drama Club Production in April The Drama Club will be proudly presenting "She Kills Monsters" on severaldates in April. The remaining dates are: April 14 at 12pm and 5pm; and
Ticket prices are $5 for students and $10 for adults. There isa parental advisory for adult language and simulated violence.
Seniors: Scholarship Seeks Atlantic StudentsMrs. Ocampo recently attended a meeting with the Rotary Club. They award 10 scholarships to students
from Atlantic High School at our senior awards night. The deadline was April 1st and the scholarship was
on our list since January but only 3 students applied! They have graciously given you all another chance
since they want to support our students. You do not need to be a resident of Delray- ALL Atlantic students
are eligible. They require pages 1 and 2 of your most recent tax forms. The rest of the application is
extremely short. They need applications ASAP so submit it this week. The sooner, the

Saturday School at Atlantic Cancelled for NowUnfortunately Atlantic's after school and Saturday tutoring programs arecurrently canceled until further notice. Students who need extra help should asktheir teacher(s), as many of them have sessions before/after school or duringlunch. NHS will hold 1 final tutoring session on Monday 4/16 from inroom 5214. They offer help in all subjects so we encourage students in need toattend!
Help Beautify the Front Pond and Create aNative Habitat!On , we will be planting native trees, bushes, and flowersbehind the stadium around the front pond and in the planters by the auditorium.Hundreds of plants have been donated through a project with FAU, but weneed your help to get them in the ground! Volunteers are needed from
and . Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Bringsunscreen and a reusable water bottle which can be refilled. Sign up for ashift here. Donations of work gloves can be dropped off for Chelsea Rioux in4-201. If you have shovel, please bring it. If you cannot come plant but wouldlet us use your shovel, please label it with your name and drop it off in room 6-102. Service hours will be awarded for your time as well as any donations ofgloves or borrowed shovels. The Band Ends Season on a High NoteOn April 7, the Atlantic Community High School Color Guard competed in the2018 South Florida Winter Guard Association Championships at NovaSoutheastern University and brought home the gold. They are the SFWGAreigning champions!
Their show name is Celestial Beings and the song selection is by Celtic Womenentitled I am the sky, the dawn, and the sun. Not only did they win thechampionship but the guard captain, Veronica "Vern" Renzette was awarded aSFWGA Scholarship.
