Rockdump - Stonedump
RESON is a world leader in dredge guidance systems, singlebeam and multibeam echosounders and hydrographic software. The Dredge Guidance System is designed to efficiently create high quality and fast results.
RESON’s in-house developed PDS2000 Rockdump provides the functionality tailored to rockdump operations to carry out the job more efficiently. The operator has an instant overview of the rock dump vessel with the top views displaying the vessel outline and the slides. Information about the vessel, the design model, surveyed area and/or pipeline are shown in various views which are updated as soon as new data is available and during the rock dump.
PDS2000 supports two types of dump method: Sweep (dumping over the site) and Areadump. The Digital Terrain model (DTM) can be updated using three different type of updates. - Incremental hit count: Counting the number of dumps per cell- Add layer: the DTM is updated with a predefined value- Set Fix Value:,After dump the DTM is updated with a fixed value.If a load device is available the dump layer or dump quantity can be compute and used for the update.
More than 1 bay can be defined.When a stone dump vessel is equipped with an ADCP current profiler it can be interfaced to PDS2000. A mean current vector is computed to properly offset the dump location. RESON supplies fully integrated Rock dump Monitoring Packages, which includes a range of sensors and our PDS2000 Software.
