Objectives

1. To study the status of empowerment of women village

Panchayats in Tamil Nadu and Kerala

2. To study the role of family and caste in the empowerment

process of Women Village Panchayat Presidents.

3. To study the role of Prior Political Experience of Women Village

Panchayat Presidents in their empowerment process.
