I’m delighted to launch the PSA Rugby Academy for the 2016 season. With

my top class coaching team, we will offer youth players of 10+ years old and

of all abilities a truly exceptional sporting and life experience, based on the key

principles of rugby – integrity, honesty, commitment, skill and above all else,

the love of the game.

PSA Academies was established in November 2015 by Philippe Saint Andre,

Ian Lewis and Graham Ross. Sharing a common passion for the development

of sport, the co-founders quickly identified Tignes as the perfect location to

establish a flagship site and deliver the inaugural sports programmes in the

Summer of 2016.

Every aspect of the PSA Academies experience is designed to positively

challenge, with the aim of delivering an intensive but rewarding programme

that will give young players a real insight into the life of a professional sports

person. In addition, the PSA Academies‘ philosophy targets the development

of the sports person in a broader sense and as such, the programme

includes key focuses on language skills, teamwork, leadership and personal

development, all delivered via the exceptional facilities that our locations have

to offer.

Tignes Rugby Academy Starting from July 2016, the PSA Rugby Academy will offer the foremost youth residential and day rugby camp experience in

Europe. With our flagship base in the Alpine resort of Tignes, 2,100m above sea level, Philippe and his team will deliver a high

performance rugby programme par excellence in the same world class sports facilities where the GB Olympic, RC Toulon and

French National teams have trained in recent years.

The week long programme will be tailored to meet the needs of local and international players across a range of ages (10-18)

and abilities, covering key areas such as;

Intermediate Programme

This week will focus on ensuring that the youth

player has the basic building blocks of a great

rugby game – core ball skills, game appreciation,

speed, agility and flexibility.

This will be delivered in a fun and engaging way.

The rugby and extra-curricular programme will be

delivered bi-lingually by our qualified, professional

team, with additional French language classes to

supplement the learning experience.

With a mix of international cultures expected

to attend, we will foster a cultural and social

experience that will see many friendships in

sport and life forged, in a memorable and

unique setting.

Advanced Programme

With our top-class coaching team, we have designed a

programme that focuses on giving our advanced age group

a unique chance to truly benchmark themselves.

Through the sessions, lectures and plans delivered, our

advanced programme players will achieve significant benefits

to help them to reach peak performance in a key phase of their

young careers. Taking a tailored, player-focussed approach,

we will work closely with each attendee to deliver the short and

longer term gains in order to build to excellence.

All aspects of the programme, including the extra-curricular

activities, are designed with development as a core principle,

delivering an intensive 24/7 learning experience.

The programme will also see attendees develop an unrivalled

network in their sport, both in terms of professional coaches,

professional scouts in attendance to watch the end-of-programme

game and fellow players, forging friendships and career

opportunities for many years to come. Truly an inspirational

grounding for aspiring high performance rugby players.

As well as the huge benefits delivered by the altitude and top sports facilities on offer at our Tignes location, the programme planned will give the most ambitious groups a fully-managed experience that addresses every need of the management and squad. We can offer expert add-ons, amazing extra-curricular activities like the squad expedition up the Grand Motte* and social events to help to foster team spirt and leadership within your group.
