Get Inspired to Get Fit!

This month healthy weight loss success storywill motivate you to eat right, burn caloriesand feel better about your body!

Jeff Springer was one of the first UJA employeesmotivated to join the new Prosserman JCC Fit-ness Centre back in October 2009. The conven-ience of a brand new fitness centre housed in the

next building gave him no excuses to get into aregular exercise routine.

A sleep doctor informed him that the excessweight created a blockage in his nasal passagewhich prevented adequate sleep. He was at thehighest weight that he had ever been and neededto get back in shape.Jeff started out at a slow pace using the treadmillfor 5 minutes, coupled with other exercises usingweight resistance machines and core exercises.

The built-in TV’s on the cardio equipmentbecame a distraction for his effort and motivationto keep him going for each workout.

A striking 40 lbs lighter! Jeff has dropped a pantsize. To date, he is swiftly completing 35 +minutes of cardio per workout, has increasedenergy and adjusted his meal plan to includehealthy choices and avoids junk food.

His next goal is to complete a 5K outdoor run thisfall.

The fitness staff greets him daily for his exerciseroutines with proud smiles of encouragement.

Congratulations Jeff on your great accom-plishment toward health and fitness that willinspire many members and staff to the same.

Designed specifically for WOMEN. Principles of fitness, injury prevention, methods of training, safety, technique, TARGETTRAINING ZONES and program design are explored. Includes both theory and practical applications. 

FELDENKRAIS METHOD®

The Feldenkrais Method® is a combination of gentle exercises and BODY AWARENESS
