Promote – the learning transfer platform – is a digital program support system that drives and supports training initiatives toward desired results. Promote makes it possible to show and see activities, progress and implementation of newly learned skills and knowledge throughout a whole training initiative, both on the individual and group level.

Scania wanted to improve its practical leadership programme in a number of ways without changing the programme content or compromising on quality. Thanks to the visual program support, Scania was able to increase the involvement of managers, reduce the duration of training events and better monitor practical application of new knowledge. Scania’s improved programme has been recognised as a success internationally. It has become a model for demonstrating that learning has a positive impact on an organisation.

Promote provides
An overview of the program structure and content. This overview then leads to a greater understanding of what is expected and required from both participants and the participants’ immediate managers before, during and after the development program.
The participants are better prepared for the instructor led training. It is also possible to complete some of the theoretical sessions via Promote prior to the instructor led training, which enables us to focus the classroom training on practicing skills instead of going through theories.
A forum for exchanging experiences, discussions and networking. This creates an environment for the promotion of best practices as well as building a long lasting network between participants.
Effective support for the participants’ (immediate) managers to monitor and support the participants during their development process.
Easy access to preparation and post training assignments that steers the progress towards the desired result, which strengthens and extends the learning process and learning transfer theories.
Activities, implementation and progress on both individual and group level are made visible. This makes it possible to steer, operate and support the desired behaviors that are to be implemented in the daily work place.

A very good and demanding exercise. we made really good progress - I think. I can already see a couple of situations where I can use this with my team. We hace a situation coming up in a few weekw where I will de�nitely use this again, in a slightly di�eren way.
