Global Citizen Programme ApplicationThe Global Citizen Programme is an opportunity for young people to develop leadership qualities. A young volunteer travels across the world to go through a cultural learning experience while working for meaningful projects and NGO’s that aim to create positive impact in society based on specific social issues, ranging from education, environment, and cultural understanding.
There is only one place where all the colours,
flavours, sounds and sights of Asia come
together , Malaysia. No other country has Asia's
three major races, Malay, Chinese, Indian, plus
various other ethnic groups in large numbers.
Nowhere is there such exciting diversity of
cultures, festivals, traditions and customs, offering
myriad experiences. No other county is "Truly
Asia" as Malaysia.

AIESEC Malaysia is partnering with one of South-East Asia's
largest NGOs: SOLS 24/7. We are offering exchange
participants the opportunity to develop their own
educational program with the support of SOLS 24/7, and
then implement it during a 7 week placement at one of
their community centers.
Exchange participants get to work in one of 40 local
communities across Malaysia, teaching basic IT and any
tech related subjects they are interested in (e.g.
photography, music production, videography).
Each community is different, ranging from urban, to rural, to
jungle, to islands and to small town or township.
Teaching to Malay people, Indians, Chinese and even
native indigenous tribes people. The age groups of students
also varies from center to center, ranging from young
children to middle aged housewives.

EXPLORE MEMORIES
“I have been impacted by this project because
though this IT Champion Project, I can use my
knowledge to teach those who are from the poor
villages and who would have had no chance to have
access to the computer. it means all i do will change
their life! what is more, these students are very nice, so i
feel it is really a home for me. here, we share our own
stories with each other, and i learn a lot from them.” –
Zhao Zhongxia (Sharleen), China-
I have never thought that I can overcome so much difficulties before, and yet I did it. In this process, without the AIESECers, I don't think I can make it. Because of you all, I feel secure and warm. So I think all of you will stay in my memories which will make me smile whenever I think of it. Thanks for your encouragement and for accompanying me to finish this project.
The biggest gain through this exchange is that I become stronger, make lots of friends here and the happiness that I gained. Thanks to all of you~~ "–Nurela Mahmud, China-
