I chose the department heads and a teacher from each area to get a wider rangeof responses to the survey. I included one technology teacher to get an overall view of the campus technology needs.

• Do you know why you are asked to complete the StarChart every year?

I added a question regarding the StarChart survey to get a better understandingof the teacher’s knowledge for completing the survey. As you can see, almost 50%of the teachers do not know why they complete the survey. This is a major issue thatneeds to be addressed to administration for future teacher training.

StartChart findings for 2011 showed an increase from two to three. The chart above shows positive use of technology integration by the teachers on a daily bases.

StarChart findings for 2011 showed an increase from two to three, however,the chart above shows that 50% of the teachers are unaware of the technology tools available to our students. This item will need to be further address withadministration. Possible solution offer future training on this item.

StarChart findings for 2011 shows a gradual increase each year. The chart abovesupports the increase of teachers knowledge and use campus website forcommunications.

StarChart findings for 2011 remain the same (2) in 2010 and 2011. The chart above shows variance of hours of professional development. This item will have to beaddress with administration for discussion. Possible solution, offer trainings after work.

StarChart findings for 2011 remain the same (2) in 2010 and 2011. The chart above shows that teachers are using web-based instruction and websites to deliverInstruction in their classroom. Possible solution, post additional resources on thecampus website.

StarChart findings for 2011 remain the same (2) in 2010 and 2011. The chart above shows that only half the teachers are familiar with the Technology Applications TEKS. Recommended solution is add this item as a teacher training module.

StarChart findings for 2011 remain the same (2) in 2010 and 2011. The chart above shows that teachers are somewhat divided on this item. Possible reason could bethat not all teachers read the information or adhere to it.

StarChart findings for 2011 show an increase from two to three. The chart above shows that teachers do not all agree with this item and are not sure what is goingon with the allocations of fund. Solution: volunteer on committees.

StarChart findings for 2011 remain the same (2) in 2010 and 2011. The chart above shows that teachers do not get technology support in a timely manner. This could bea result of teachers not using the appropriate communication tools to report their Issues. Solution, provide teacher training on how to use the campus work order system.
