Button functions

Scroll buttons For scrolling forward and back betweenand in the programming menus, and forselecting functions and digits.

Cursor buttons Used for scrolling to the next function ordigit input.

Programming Used to enter the programming levelbutton and to confirm (save) your inputs.

Cancel button Used to quit the individual programmingmenus and to terminate the programming session.

The scrolling and cursor buttons are fitted with a repeat function. If the buttons are held down, thedigits automatically count upwards or the cursor changes continuouslybetween the individual positions.

InputsThe Easikey Controller EC 602-...comprises 2 inputs, E1 and E2, forexternal release or disabling ofswitching functions.

NoteNo external voltage may be appliedat inputs E1 and E2. They areconnected by means of floatingcontacts between E0/E1 / E0/E2.

Code requestThe code request is accessed bypressing the programming button.

If no code has been assigned or thecode has been deleted, the mainSystem menu appears.

Select the 1st digit of the code, ifnecessary by pressing the scrollbutton several times.

In the case of a multi-digit code,scroll to the next position with thecursor button.

Repeat the last two steps as often asnecessary until the code has beencompletely entered. Using the programming button,confirm the code.

If the code has been correctlyentered, the following displayappears.

Input 2:Control input for general release ofkey buttons in COM 611-... andDIM 611-... as well as external keybuttons (door release buttons).The key buttons are only functional ifinput 2 is connected.

Code inputUsing this programming point, amaximum of 99 F codes are defined.These codes can have 1-8 digits.

TimeIn the Time menu, the switchingtimes for the relays and the delaytimes for the gateways are defined.

The Time menu contains thefollowing programming points:• Relay• Gateway*

Any changes to the switching time,e.g. 3 secs., are performed using thescroll button . The cursorposition is altered using the cursorbutton .

A default switching time of 3seconds is set for relay 1 and 2.These can be changed in incrementsof one second up to max. 59minutes and 59 seconds.Remark:The switching time of 00 minutes 00seconds has been entered for theON/OFF function. The pause time forgateways can be set in increments of1 second to max. 59 minutes and 59seconds.

The delay time is the time periodbetween switching start of the 1stand 2nd relays in a gatewayconfiguration. For example:1st relay switches for 3 seconds.2nd relay switches for 3 secondsDelay time = 5 seconds

DeletionIn the Delete menu, it is possible todelete the codes, EKC/EK 601-... andgateways. The menu can only be accessed ifthe relevant data exists.


Depending on the existing dataentries, pressing the programmingbutton causes one of theprogramming points, for example„Delete code“ to appear.

If you do not wish code 01 to bedeleted, press the cancel button.

If you wish to delete code 01,confirm with the programmingbutton.

Reset

ResetA reset routine deletes all inputsincluding the code word andrestores the default status.

A reset at the EC 602-.../ECE 602-... is carried out as follows:Switch off the supply voltage. Pressthe scroll buttons at the EC 602-... while switching thesupply voltage back on and continueto hold down the button during thefollowing display.

After around 7 seconds, the displayon the right appears. Then releasethe scroll button.
