The general theme of ICEM-2015 conference is Responsibility dilemmas for organizations and institutions in an uncertain world. The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars and inspire discussions about responsibility dilemmas that encounter actors acting on behalf of organizations, institutions and countries in the world where institutional complexity, intensifying climate change, and staggering innovations become a norm. The general theme will be explored during presentations and discussions in the plenary session.
The 20th Economics and management 2015 (ICEM-2015) is ta ing place in Kaunas, the second largest city of Lithuania. Kaunas’ cultural life is loaded with cultural events, such as international lm, azz and dance festivals our galleries o er a variety of local and international exhibitions. Although Kaunas is an important industrial centre, it bene ts from large recreational areas.
The conference “Economics and management 2015 (ICEM-2015)” is organized by School of Economics and Business of Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), Lithuanian Operational Research Society within EURO (LitORS), Faculty of Business and Management of Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic), Tallinn School of Economics, Business Administration of Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) and Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management of Riga Technical University (Latvia).

Conference proceedings constituted by reviewed and accepted papers will be published in special issue of „Procedia – Social and Behavioral Sciences“ dedicated to the ICEM-2015 conference. The journal is published by Elsevier publishing.
Authors of the best papers jointly chosen by sections‘ conveners will be recommended to submit extended version of their papers to the “Engineering Economics” journal indexed by Thomson Reuter’s Web of Science (Impact factor 0,771, 2013).
All authors of accepted papers will be invited to submit an extended version for publication in regular issues of the following journals, in addition to publication in the conference proceedings:� Economics and Management (publisher Kaunas University of
Technology, Lithuania). Indexed in EBSCO (Business Source Complete, Current Abstracts, TOC Premier, Central & Eastern European Academic Source)

The International Scienti c Conference “Economics and Management” (ICEM) was founded in 1992. The 1st International Conference “Management and Mar et Economics” was organized by Faculty of Engineering Economics of Kaunas University of Technology on May 07 - 08, 1992 in Kaunas, Lithuania.
The majority of the conferences were held in Kaunas, Lithuania. The conferences from 2001 to 2007 were organized in two cities: Kaunas, Lithuania and Kaliningrad, Russian Federation and hosted by Kaunas University of Technology and Kaliningrad State Technical University respectively. Starting from 2010 the conference was hosted by di erent universities: Riga Technical University (ICEM-2010 and ICEM-2014, Riga, Latvia), Brno University of Technology (ICEM-2011, Brno, Czech Republic), Tallinn University of Technology (ICEM-2012, Tallinn, Estonia), Kaunas University of Technology (ICEM-2013, Kaunas, Lithuania).
The themes of ICEM conferences were concentrated on local regional trends and global scienti c problems, starting with uestions of emerging and post-Soviet economies, leading to nancial crises and corporate social responsibility actualities, developing uestions and discussions related with creating smart, sustainable and inclusive economies, entrepreneurship ecosystems, and dealing with responsibility dilemmas for organizations and institutions.
More than 2000 di erent participants coming from more than 30 countries were presenting scienti c results in all ICEM conferences. We are proud to have 6 participants who were present in the 1st as well as in the 20th conference.

The building encompasses Gothic, Baro ue and early Classicism elements. In the Medieval Ages, the Town Hall, along with the main mar et place, was the centre of Kaunas. After its reconstruction in 1973, the Town Hall became the Wedding Palace and the place for o cial city events, as well as housing the Ceramics Museum in its basement.
